Kiffin Interview

Has Kiffin once appeared upset about the situation??

No. I was referring to the UT fanbase. The one that loses is the one that gets upset. Who knows, we may have our long-term in Dooley. It could work out for everyone.

pretty good read, he comes off really well....
with Brakley coming back next year, they should really light it up

It still sucks what he did to Tennessee...I just hope he gets nailed for more NCAA issues while at USC

if you can play great defense and have a franchise quarterback and have two great receivers, you can play with anybody on a given day.

Sounds like Tennessee. The great defense thing might be questionable, but assuming we really improve there, 2012 could be interesting. (Yes, I realize, we do need to still run the football.)

Good write-up.Thanks for posting it. Still doesn't change the fact that I have 11 other favorite PAC teams.

Yeah, but they are gonna be hurting with depth. Losing 30 scholarships over the next 3 years, and it's only gonna get worse. I really hate that for them. :)

The people upset with Kiffin need to answer this question- Who is more upset about the situation, Kiffin or the Vol fan base? Kiffin left for his dream job, you can't blame him for that...especially if he was upfront about it in the hiring process. Who knew Carroll was going to leave USC in Jan of 2009?

When it happened, I tried to put myself in his shoes. If I had been the HC at Notre Dame, or even Alabama... and UT called, there would have been a flame trail leading out of South Bend before the dial tone were audible...

Now the behavior of the douchbag Orgeron on the other hand.....

VFL

And.. that being said.. he's gonna win a sh!tload of NCs in SoCal before he's done.

Not really a factor when your few are more talented than most. USC beat Oregon with only 42 Scholarship players. The NCAA limit for USC is 75. They will actually get MORE depth. But don't let me ruin the dream for you.

If I was at USC, and I was offered twice what I made at USC to coach UT, I would have left in .5 seconds.

Orgeron: "You think these Hillbillies know we are bolting for USC?"

Kiffin: "I love you Ed!!"

been said many times and still doesn't make a difference. His actions hurt UT and his reasons really don't matter to me. I'm a UT fan and don't care what his life dreams happen to be when he hurts something that I care about.

Exactly, good riddance.

I do not dislike the guy nearly as much as i did when it happened. All of you, ask yourself the question, if i had a shot to have my dream job, would i take it? Hell yes, you all would, and if you say otherwise, you are a liar.

Its not that he took his dream job but how he did it and what he left us with. I think he made a lot of mistakes here and was able to see all the wrong he did and learn from it.

He is acting more like a grown man now more than he did before.
