Girls don't want to hear, "That guy sucks." Girls want to hear, "Baby, I'm the man for you."

Recruits don't want to hear, "That school sucks." Recruits want to hear, "Young man, we're the program for you."

Negative recruiting is for the desperate and should be used only as a last resort.

giles can suck it...he probably did what was best for him. he seems like he wants attention and probably wouldint get that here at Tennessee. south carolina he would get more playing time. tn he would be another talented RB rotting on the bench

That in itself is not negative recruiting. It is a fact, one USC may not enjoy, but a fact none the less. Come with something a little stronger than that.

Actually, it sounds like he was being truthful. USCe will never win a Championship, at least not in my lifetime

no that is the truth. from recent events sc has been negative recruiting themselves. spurrier will leave sc worse than what holtz did.

According to Giles and his father, the emphasized line above was not stated by DR, but they felt it was implied.

A bit of a stretch to call that negative recruiting if you ask me.

I bet you everything I have that SS told him negative things about Tennessee,Everyone knows He hates Tennessee with a passion and bad mouths them every chance he gets,so don't even say anything about Tennessee coaches negative recruiting. If you do you'd be a hypocrite!
