Kiffin actually underperformed with that team, bad.

Underperformed? Didn't we have 2 walk-ons on the offensive line that year (the Sullins brothers)? Outside of Eric Berry and Dan Williams, there was nobody on that defense of note.

Kiffin took a little swipe at Saban in this article saying essentially the offense played well and compensated for the defensive struggles in the game against Washington. I bet Saban flips out when that gets back to him.

What a completely a**hole, first things first, that defense was and is legit, I hate Bama but you have to give credit where it's due. Second, with the talent that team has on the offensive side of the ball they should have beaten the brakes off of Washington, still a dominant win, but bama should have had 40 in that game. Moral of the story is that Kiffin is the worst there is, the worst there was and the worst there ever will be.
