agreed if he were still here, the dipsh## who asked him the question would be villain not CLK. Other day someone tried saying he threw barkley under the buss

guy might be a jerk but for now the fact is he has done a pretty good job at SC time will tell how good he really is.

What the hell does his salary have to do with his actions? I get paid plenty and log on with you jokers on a daily basis. Maybe the PAID reporters should follow the guidelines that were laid out to hem prior to the season starting.

Imagine, if that was our policy and he was the coach here, how much this board would rip the reporter for even thinking of that question.

I'll pretend that Kiffin wasn't involved in this incident and say that I enjoyed what happened in this video. Anytime a coach sticks it to the media like this, I gain a little respect for that person. Reporters have the right to ask tough questions, but they can't have it both ways.

The bigger issue is USC and the media have a complicated relationship. Every non-USC fan thinks they are in the tank for us, but they constantly report negative info (Yahoo practically drove the Bush case to the NCAA) and if you listen to the questions Lane gets asked every single day, you can understand why it gets old after so long.

That doesn't excuse Lane from storming off though. Either we close practices--likely to happen from what I understand--or get through the session without incident. I'm for the former since Coach needs to be paying attention to the team; I posted in one thread that I could see USC going 7-5 or 8-4...very likely now that we've already picked up a loss and have more possibly coming in @Wash Oregon ND @UCLA...
