Kiffin To 49ers?

If I were a coach, I would want Kiffin's agent working for me. It's unbelievable how his name pops up for everything and hasn't done a darn thing on his own. Even at USC, he was co-offensive coordinator.

I don't think Kiffin would ever leave Alabama. I'm sure by now he has fallen in love with all the toothless women. All gums, baby. Wink wink, nudge nudge. Know what I mean?

Maybe that's because he's nowhere close to the failure this board wants him to be.

He got fired from failing at two different jobs and somehow found a way to fall upwards. While the OC isn't as nice as a HC position, it sure is a step up when it's Bama.

And the 49ers would likely be at least a lateral if not a step up in this case. Point being his track record isn't great yet he somehow manages to get a decent job when it's said and done.

He did wonders in his one year here. Did great things with a limited qb this year. He walked into a train wreck at USC and basically had no way to fix it due to previous sanctions. No one wins with the Raiders. But yea, just blindly hate, because, you know, it's so convenient.

Wonders like getting us on probation for recruiting violations?

And that limited QB at Bama was actually pretty darn good. Came out of nowhere when everyone thought Coker was the automatic starter.

And you can't tell me that a team like USC that had the kind of talent to be pre-season ranked #1, 2 or 3 depending on which poll you happened to be looking at somehow went 7-6 based off a lack of talent.

It's not blind hate. It's a legitimate questions about his coaching ability. Take away Cooper, Sims and Yeldon and what does he have going into next year. And really, that's going to be the real test of his abilities. If he sticks around, he won't have those freaks of nature and will have to develop new players. And that's going to be a true testament to his coaching abilities.

I didn't see you dispute anything I said.

Either address the points or shush.

So you didn't read huh? Common with you. Sims wasn't good. At all. Yet Kiffin made him very effective. Just like he did with Crompton.

It's fairly obvious nobody can critique your chosen one without you going overboard with douche comments, so I'll simply say Kiffin isn't the wonder you think he is either. He may be able to develop decent QBs, but the remainder of the offensive play calling is suspect.

So I'll agree he's a decent QB coach so you can stop being a douche. Fair?

You haven't accurately critiqued him, have no argument and therefore resort to this. Brilliant.

Critique? In case you missed it...

Would have gotten UT into serious trouble had he stayed. In one year he already had us on probation. Got into trouble at USC as well.

Took a #1 ranked USC team to a 7-6 record the year before he was fired. And what happened once he got fired after getting mangled by ASU in 2013? They started winning again and finished out the season at 10-4. And who was his OC during that time? Oh wait, it was HIM wasn't it?

Walked into a great situation at Alabama where established talent was already in place and had a loaded roster. Gets credit for all the wonderful things the players did this year even though he had little to do with it save "get the ball to Cooper/hand the ball of to Yeldon."

Won't even get started on his time at Oakland.

Did you want the game by game critique?

Yea because preseason polls mean anything. You didn't even touch what I said about his restrictions, but keep babbling.

Won't get started on Oakland since there's really nothing to say huh? Don't blame you.

My bad! Kiffin is the greatest OC of all time! And if he wasn't on sanctions (that he was coaching during that the time Bush was being comped is not unnoticed) he likely would have won the BCS championship every year he was at USC! And likely could have won the Stanley Cup as well since he's that darn good! We should have kept him, tossed the bank at him!

He is a terrible play caller as evidenced by his time at USC. His play calling against OSU was god awful. He won 7 games here and you want to declare him a huge success. I give him credit for the work he did with Crompton. That's about it. He has not been successful in any of his jobs. Bama is probably his biggest success.

Laughable to say he wasn't successful here or in his stint as OC at USC
