It may not have played a huge role, but it did play something, even if he says it doesn't.

It's just like we aren't going to get two top flight QBs this year. We won't get both Heaps and Scroggins no matter how much they say they want to compete in college, blah blah blah.

Nukeese would have been overshadowed by the best WR prospect in the country coming in to take his spot. Plus he felt more "at home" here.

We only got Jackson because of his daddy.


Some people just won't come to UT. We aren't going to get everyone no matter how great our staff is. Bridgewater probably won't make it out of Florida, and it's really doubtful he even makes it out of Miami. I don't know enough about the rest of them really to make a decision, except maybe Kasen. Unless we get Heaps, chances are we don't get him either.

Randle is probably the best sheer WR in the class, but Debose is probably better with what Florida wants to do which is kinda what I was alluding to.

Debose fits what fla does in thier O. Randle fits what LSU does. Randle will have a better career, but Debose will make the quickest impact. JMO.

Have you seen this? Take a look and let me know what you would think if you had to beat this guy out for playing time during your entire college career?

I'd like to know how you can guarantee that Nuke's de-committment had nothing to do with Debose?

It's ridiculous of you to assume that Nu'keese was afraid of competing for time with Debose. Do you guys have something in the works where only one WR is going to be featured in your offense that I am not aware of?

There is competition here too. Je'Ron Stokes was still committed to UT when Nu'Keese committed to the coaches, we bring in James Green in the same class as well as Zach Rogers and Marsalis Teague (which Pete was completely aware of and is a very similar size/style to himself.) We were looking good to get Alshon Jeffery and Marlon Brown's signature too.

To say that one guy was enough to scare him off is just sour grapes on your part. I know you have convinced yourself otherwise, but there is just no other way to slice it. Get over it and move on.
