I’m going to say there are probably a lot of coaches that look at Kellie’s record, challenges with injuries, lack of NIL and the fact that DW dumped her after a decent year and say that is a pretty short leash and not a lot of loyalty. Maybe a pass on that job.

As others pointed out, if you're going the route of mid-majors there are WAY better options with 10 years of proven success that get the call before you turn to Marshall's coach.

Uh, yeah, of course I said it was Walz or Lawson because that's what an actual insider was suggesting. Then they added Kim Stephens, which I also posted here lol. not to me personally but to the actual internet. Other humans saw it too. But Of course I'm guessiing? What are you doing, not Guessing? I'm just forward info, that again, an actual insider tweets out. I said they were legit, which I stand by. Why would I want to fool you? we cheer for the same team? lmao.

Don't see anything wrong with hiring Kim Stephens as the new head coach of the Lady Vols. Her resume is pretty damn good and they need a coach like her who's got a resume to back up her knowledge of the game. believe she would be a steal personally. A real "hidden jewel". At this point i don't see one of the big names coming to the HILL. Who the heck cares how she looks as long as she brings some fire back into the program! I say push it if i'm Danny White.

but what proves this? she’s coached D1 for one year. she’s not a home run hire. we’re moving in the wrong direction if we hire her. no way you fire harper for a coach this inexperienced in the P5 level. would be insane.

Show me where either of them have said they aren't interested? The only coaches that have shown up on media's "hotboards" for possible Tennessee replacements that have had coaching related media posted about them is the "Kara Lawson didn't interview with Tennessee and is staying at Duke," from today and Jackson State's Coach Tomekia Reed who posted "Don't believe everything you read."

The Lady Vol legacy is doomed if there is a majority of folks who hold this view. SMH.
