Stop telling people to go somewhere else, everyone has a right to their opinion. This is a social media forum the mere fact that you’re here indicates you have an opinion. Go play Hall monitor and hope someone listens.
Turn that around and see what happens if the WNBA drafts a man. See how that works.Dude no way?….ok guys let’s talk about it..give me some feed back…because I’m imagining her s**t getting sent to the moon on every possession

not at all.So you are okay with setting the expectations for the Lady Vols as "low"?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I am not.
You mean the first NCAA tournament for Marshall since 1997 and that team had the most wins this season with a all time record for Marshall. You do know it took that head coach Kenny Brooks 4 seasons in Virginia Tech to even get into the NCAA tournament and this was his 8th season for him while for Caldwell it was her 1 season for Marshall when they faced each other... Give me a breakWe'll see what happens, but you don't fire a coach for the Lady Vols and then settle for a coach that has 1 year of D1 experience and lost in their first game every by 41 points. If she is the hire, then it tells me we no longer have the influence to get a seasoned coach.
not at all.
I just think that a coach coming in with no expectations is exactly what we need right now.
As long as we have a "name coach",,we will keep our lofty goals.
Pat Summitt (RIP) has been gone for 8 years and she is still as if she was sitting in the stands and being answered to. Don't take me wrong, I sat with this fine Lady/Coach for half a game and spoke with her a few times more, so I cherish what she was. She is why I have coached girls exclusively for over 40 years
You see
With Holly there were expectations, as with Kellie.
With Kim there will be no immediate expectation....tons of scrutiny, but no hard fast Mendoza lines.
To me this would be brilliance on Danny's part.
Hire Kim, keep Sam, let Kim fill in the gap and see if she IS for real
Yes bc we all know winning in the Sun Belt is just as hard as winning games in the ACC…..he took James Madison to the tourney before he got to Virginia Tech. Should we expect Kim to take 4 years when she moves up like Kenny did?You mean the first NCAA tournament for Marshall since 1997 and that team had the most wins this season with a all time record for Marshall. If she had played it right, she would have contested the inbounds pass. Doesn’t take much to guard their big. Foul if necessary. She had a foul to give plus it would have ate into the 1.1 seconds.I think Kellie played it right. She hadn't made that shot all year, maybe in her career. She protected the paint and all the regular shooters. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of coaches would have played it the same way. Lucky shot, unlucky LVs.
Out of curiosity, do you have their records vs power conference teams, maybe SEC?Ummm... proven records?
Carla Berube has a 100-17 record at Princeton over the last 4 years for an 86% win percentage. She's 44-2 in league play for a 96% win percentage. Add in her D3 experience (since that matters to a lot on this board) and she's 484-113 as a coach (81%).
Lisa Fortier is 265–63 (.808) as a head coach and 154–22 (.875) in league play. She's beaten more top 5 teams in her career than Kellie did at TN.
You're going to tell me you take Marshall's coach over either of those?

Recruiting and playing against different levels is a big deal. You are what your record says you are stratified too, maybe more so.
Feedback on support of boosters who can and will donate to both AD and collectives is a new KEY driver. Proven is history, could be on the downward side on the charts.
"reputable sources" over time in this site have become very targeted.A lot of freaking out and arguing over something that no reputable source has claimed has happened or is going to happen.
Guess that's the slogan of all message boards though.
I know Fortier beat us last year and made the sweet sixteen this year. She beat Stanford, Utah, and Alabama who we lost to. Record against Power 5 was 4-3 this year.Out of curiosity, do you have their records vs power conference teams, maybe SEC?

Yes exactly the salty ones who got turned down always come out the woodworkI say Tennessee is still on it's top target at this point. Loose lips sink tight ships. We've heard nothing in regards to candidates who have interviewed, been offered, declined, etc. To me, this says we haven't entered that stage of the hiring process with multiple people (meaning we haven't been turned down). If we had offered multiple coaches it would have leaked somewhere. It always does. You would see announcements on extensions with comments from the schools we were trying to poach from.
