I’m reluctant to suggest Hammon due to her lack of recruiting experience; however, that can be fixed by good assistant choices. To me, recruiting was a huge shortcoming for the past several years. That price tag would be very high, but it certainly would make a statement.

I personally prefer the Oklahoma, Ohio State and the Indiana coaches. I cannot bring myself to believe the USC coach would leave her current situation for a restart.

Freese and Walz are good coaches, imo, but might be difficult fits in Knoxville.

we made plenty of "top 15/12/10/6/5 lists"
what we didn't have was a "closer"

Trilly updated his original post on twitter. The Lady vols logo, still with Jeff Walz and Kara lawson, but now with Kim Stephens, I believe.

Kara is very left leaning, and did not have great things to say about the university when Kellie was hired. I was very interested in hiring Kara when we hired Kellie but not at all interested in hiring her this time around!

Interesting that both Cora and Adam’s agreed Danny moves away from the Pat Summit coaching tree. I don’t completely buy the “top choice” or Kara scenario. If the top choice says no, why not move to #2? Why jump all the way to “OMG #1 SAID NO, MUST MOVE TO A LADY VOL”

Adam’s: “Kara would have had a better shot if TN had never hired a former Lady Vol as its coach. I mean I just don’t think you could do it for that reason alone because you’ve hired two really good former Lady Vol point guards and you’ve fired them both and now you’re going to hire a third? I don’t know how you’re going to explain that at a press conference.”

If u wanna see a real coach look up Scott Ruecks time before OSU

U don’t understand how bad GCUs conference is she’ll be the next Alex Simmons and struggle in a mid high level conference for a few years
