There is no reason to assume that we have to make an announcement before quietly looking for a replacement (via Jimmy Sexton and the other recruiting firms and agents).

Once the game went into overtime, is there anyone who thought we would win? I never once thought we would. Back in the days of Phil, I at least thought we had a 50/50 chance in OT. That is the thing about Derek...you just know he isn't going to many close ones. I guess you could give the example of the vandy game last year...Gordon saved us on that one.

Perhaps Hart is smart to just let Dools hang himself. After we lose to candy next week, then there will be very few who think that derek deserves another year.

Yes, I know. I had never heard of him. I still remember where I was sitting when I first heard the news. I looked up his story. When I saw that record, I thought 'what in the world is hammy doing'?

But I tried to embrace him. I had thought that Hammy was wrong on bruce pearl but Bruce put our basketball back on the map. So maybe Hammy knew what he was going with Derek.

In hindsight, we should have let Kippy have it for one year. Oh well, water under the bridge now. Let's move forward and get it right this time.

I kinda hope so too...wouldn't mind seeing us make a bowl game, which is still possible.

Ya know what would have been real funny? Hart steps in to the post game presser and says Dooley will not be seaking to the media. He has been sent to clean out his office. I would have CRACKED UP at that now!!

Of course we just allow the man to keep dragging this program down the shi*%#@*!!

They admittedly aint great on the talent. But they are a heck of a lot better than we are making them good. I have never seen so many brown coverages in all my years. That is coaching. Plan and simple..that is 100% coaching. We can not even get a man on every receiver.

Just like Dooley, they have shown little indication that they're ever going to be better. Quarterbacks in the last multiple losses have had field days against them.
