Nick's is awesome. Broad Street bbq for a bbq sandwich and they have the best fries within 100 miles. Center Street bbq should be on your list too, order the bbq nachos. Model City Taphouse for a steamed sub. Go to Sloopy's or Backwoods burger if you want...a burger. El Loco Taco, is the best Mexican place in the area. Thai Noodle town, Thia Cuisine, and Little Panda are must have Asian food. Milly's Jamaican and American Empanadas are good spots. The Bagel exchange is great. Betty's Stockard is the best breakfast in the world. Mustard Seed is a great for lite lunch.

There are so many good mom and pop places in Kingsport.

Italian Village in the mall has great pizza. If you're bored (which is likely) and want to get out Hob Knob is in Gate City, burgers and shakes kind of place. As a former slave at Pratt's there are better options.

Hob Knob has the best burger in this area by far.

Dang I wish Pals would open up in Etowah. I used to eat a Pals burger every day for lunch in Lynn Garden when I was in high school.

Go VOLS

You can get a peanut butter shake in lynn garden. Plus they have a muffler man. But, that said, peanut butter milkshakes will make you VERY fat in a hurry.

It looks like pure 3rd world hell now. I don't know what they're going to do, but one thing is for sure, you can readily see a need for redevelopment. Nobody's gonna argue with anybody who's got a wrecking ball hanging from a crane.

I lived there in 70's and early 80's. It was a good place to live. I'm not sure what happened
Some of the bad element that was downtown got shifted over there when they changed up the housing projects. Parts of Scott County VA are basically meth land now too, which isn't helping.

Ridgewood is so overrated. Phil’s is pretty good. I’d rather go into JC and get Firehouse or Southern Craft though

Main Street Pizza and El Loco Taco Taqueria are my favorites. I was hooked on La Carretta for decades before I was introduced to El Loco. It’a a hole in the wall, but so good
Aaa, Ridgewood overrated? You must be shrooming!
