I compared Smart's request to what CJH noted prior to the TN-FL game as expectation (i.e. CJH didn't plead with TN fans = he expected it)

Georgia is 1-7 vs Bama since 2008 and they haven't had that much luck against the teams that have beaten Bama. So, Smart knows that a team that beats Bama is good enough to beat anyone. He should be worried.

I think that he was fairly confident until we beat Bama. He became even more nervous after our defense stepped up to partake in last weeks thumping. This is the biggest test for them so far, he’s no idiot.

We've always had more success against georgia than we have against bama and florida. We beat georgia in their own house in 2004 and 2006 ( and I believe they were top 5 and top 10 for those games, respectively), annihilated them at home in 2007 and 2009, beat them in 2016 and played them close more often than not in the meanwhile - during the worst run in our program's history.

And while its going back a ways at this point we absolutely owned them from 1992 through 1999.

You guys are really reaching here. He’s a national championship coach whose team is in the hunt every year. If there are any nerves, it’s nervous excitement, which most athletes get before a big game.

This game is what it is because of us beating Bama (and everyone else). How many chances do you get to beat two top three teams in a single regular season.

For UT to win a national championship this year we will likely have to beat five top 4 teams. So far we have only beaten one. Let’s get #2 this weekend.

The same basic "in your face" defense is ran by Alabama and Georgia. It will face the same consequences. Georgia doesn't have a Heistman winning quarterback that Bama did.
If we go up 28-10 early on Saturday, then Sanford Stadium will be empty in the fourth quarter....

I was talking about the whole video. But if you mean telling the fans to show and yell, he does do that but only for the better home opponents. Like against Notre Dame and Arkansas Kirby Smart challenges Georgia fans to set new standard against Tennessee: ‘We’ll need them again’ if you need a direct tweet:

I expect Kirby to use the fake injury tactic to protect his defense from getting burnt. They will probably have an actual signal for someone to go down when UT sees an opportunity to go super sonic and they know they aren’t ready.
