Kirby Smart most likely will replace Dooley (according to what I've heard)

Yeah, it's one of those things where I heard from somebody who is close to the program. Hart really wants to make Kirby Smart the HC.

That's all I've got. I hope not, but that's what I was told.

Everything at this point is given with a grain of salt...but if this were true, who the he!! let Dave Hart into our program...f'kng Bama people are invading us like a Red Dawn (Crimson)

Please no!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everybody is so Sabanized! Tennessee needs a proven head coach. Tennessee can't take anymore chances. Kirby's defense got eaten up by Johnny football! Why would he deserve the job?

Doubt it.

If that's who we hire, then I guess they don't care if they continue losing money and Hart doesn't care if he gets fired. If he hires a proven coach or big name and it doesn't work out, Hart would be safe. If he hires another Bama coach, one with no head coaching experience... no way he keeps his job if it doesn't work out.

I doubt it I think Hart knows most UT fans are sick of the Saban pipeline of overrated coaches. That said Kirby Smart went to UGA and imo would jump ship as soon as Richt is done at UGA.

Sure way to get fan apathy at a all time high... Lose 4 or 5 games next year and the pitchfork mob would be after Dave Hart...

He's sitting there waiting on Mal Moore to retire anyway. Most people in Tuscaloosa believe Hart will replace him when that happens.

I feel like Alabama is infiltrating us like Al Qaeda.

Maybe it's all a conspiracy due to the Fulmer/Memphis/Alabama/recruiting/scandal

I'm kidding...kinda

If this happens (flame me if you want I don't care) I will pull against UT. I would totally and completely be over UT football. I'd wear my orange but only for basketball.

Kirby Smart IS NOT the coach that our program needs now. We do not need another assistant coach playing his wares for the first time as a head coach and learning on the job.

UT needs someone who has rebuilt a program and can provide the guidance and stability to right the ship. Only a veteran proven head coach is going to do that and I am not talking about Mullen or Strong.

When are people going to realize Nick runs the D, not his DC?

No.

Kirby Smart is at least a successful defensive coordinator. While I would not be happy with the Smart hire. He would be leaps and bounds better and more proven than Dooley. Who was actually proven. . . . to be a horrible coach.
