Kirby Smart post game

Immediately after the game in his post game interview with the CBS sideline reporter Kirby Smart stated that they had two weeks to prepare for Tennessee offense.
Did he misspeak or did they overlook Florida?
UF is a one trick pony. Not a lot of prep needed to put a solid plan together for that one. I think he probably has had this game circled for a long time. Bet they put at least 2 weeks in getting ready for UT this time around.

Does he not realize he was gifted a spot in the playoffs last year after losing a game? Whatever dude. You have a team that is at the top enjoy it. We'll be back.

Georgia has really been classless about this win. If Tennessee happens to make it and then beat them in the Playoff, Saturday's game will be forgotten.

Georgia laid egg in Atlanta last year against Alabama but won in Title game so the previous matchup was totally forgotten.

Yes. I don't like the playoffs. I know I'm in the minority. But I don't like how meaningless it has rendered the SEC championship

I don’t like the playoffs either. Yeah it’s like the conference championships are now a meaningless thing. And the playoffs will be expanded soon which will make it worse.

Agree but it will mean more SEC teams make it and that will help us. I also wasn't a fan of the NIL but I am even less of a fan of Saban trying to call a team out for it one season after his starting QB made $900k

Georgia fans on their boards have been saying that Kirby has been doing things all year with his team to be prepared for the pace of our offense. Not sure if that's true or not, but I wouldn't doubt it.

He's such a Weiner. He told the reporter at the end of the game the reason they won was because of the belief of his guys and not any from transfer portal. Lol what a tool. Good game coach you got us yesterday.

Klassy program, Klassy coach.

Georgia has really been classless about this win.

Color me shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

uga. Trash program.

Here is the thing, I don't think they were on our radar this year because we focused on Alabama, Florida, etc.

However, next year, this game is going to get a lot of attention when they travel to Knoxville. I am not sure how good our team will be next year but I think the fans are going to flood Neyland for that game.

Credit given where it is due. CKS had the plan and it worked out for them this time. UT has to go back to the drawing board and hopefully next time will be different.

Go Vols!
Gotta give credit as well. He also showed some class while winning without going all Spurrier ,trying to control the game and taking a knee at the end. I also thought his team played hard and clean, both teams played with class. Georgia fans however for the most part were the most classless, jerks I have ever been around. Even made the 90's Florida crowds look good. I am not just referring to trash talk, before, during, and after the game, but borderline abusive. I have always tried to be cordial and respectful of visiting fans at Neyland, my experience yesterday will make it damned hard extend that to Georgia fans from here on. At the end of the day most of those jerks have no idea about things in this world that really matter. In the grand scheme, a college football game is not even top 10. I know all teams have fans, especially kids that tend to go a little overboard, but what I and my family and friends experienced yesterday was over the top. Again, not all, but more than just the usual kids and drunks we all experience.

Since last summer. We are their chief competition in the East. He'd be dumb not to work on Tennessee. We'd be dumb to not build a team physically capable of handling Georgia. We'll see what happens over the next few seasons...

he said the same thing in his weekly show when they asked him about playing Rocky Top. He said we did it last week in Tennessee prep.

They're not use to success, so that is how they act. When they start losing again, and it's coming, it will be glorious.
