Kirby Smart post game

Since last summer. We are their chief competition in the East. He'd be dumb not to work on Tennessee. We'd be dumb to not build a team physically capable of handling Georgia. We'll see what happens over the next few seasons...
We also have a more challenging schedule every year. We have Alabama and we play Florida in Gainesville every two years. They generally have the most favorable schedule in the SEC.

He's such a Weiner. He told the reporter at the end of the game the reason they won was because of the belief of his guys and not any from transfer portal. Lol what a tool. Good game coach you got us yesterday.
I’d love to see one of the best slap fighters in the world slap him unconscious and knock that sissy ass women’s visor off his fat head….just sayin’

Yeah that was a slight at us and possibly Alabama as well.
Not sure how it's a slight. Get the best players for your system no matter how you do it. By completely discounting the transfer portal he is limiting his options. Seems to be working for him so far, but they won't be on top forever and at some point those 4 and 5 stars will realize what a mud hole Athens is and come around to the right way of thinking.

Gotta give credit as well. He also showed some class while winning without going all Spurrier ,trying to control the game and taking a knee at the end. I also thought his team played hard and clean, both teams played with class. Georgia fans however for the most part were the most classless, jerks I have ever been around. Even made the 90's Florida crowds look good. I am not just referring to trash talk, before, during, and after the game, but borderline abusive. I have always tried to be cordial and respectful of visiting fans at Neyland, my experience yesterday will make it damned hard extend that to Georgia fans from here on. At the end of the day most of those jerks have no idea about things in this world that really matter. In the grand scheme, a college football game is not even top 10. I know all teams have fans, especially kids that tend to go a little overboard, but what I and my family and friends experienced yesterday was over the top. Again, not all, but more than just the usual kids and drunks we all experience.

We had no issues during the game, took the butt kicking and barking crap. When we were leaving one of the OL....I mean wife/gf, she was a solid 300lbs, got my my wife's face pretty rough yelling and cussing at her. Other fans told her to stop, but Karen kept on going. She eventually pushed my wife, who's a slender, short 5'2 Japanese beauty and my wife smacked Karen so hard her wig fell off. Others in our group plus GA fans covered us and got us out pretty quick.

He had no problem in the portal when he thought he needed a QB. Stole one from Wake & USC.

I can’t wait until we make Kirby and Mungo Muschamp eat their hats. What a pair of dirtbags.

I’m so thankful this is what my kids think of first when they hear “Kirby.”

Georgia fans on their boards have been saying that Kirby has been doing things all year with his team to be prepared for the pace of our offense. Not sure if that's true or not, but I wouldn't doubt it.
I think they had us so much out of our normal rhythm that we rarely snapped the ball with any urgency. Our offense was executed much slower in this game. Did not use “hurry up “ to our advantage.

Just don't stoop to their level, and try not to let it get under your skin too much. When UGA comes here next year, have fun with it but don't be a dick back to them. It aint worth giving up your standards over.

Go Vols!

ETA:
In full disclosure, I laughed in a UK fan's face the other night. I didn't mean to. It just came out. He was surrounded by loud and rowdy Vols fans and it just hit me, he must be miserable right now. I was laughing out loud before I even realized it. I know that's not even close to what you are talking about, but for me it's about as far as I would ever go with the trash talking.

Why would transfer portal use be a slight? It is smart for coaches to fill in gaps from players transferring, leaving early, injuries, etc. He can boast about all he wants, but I think coaches should use the portal when needed. I took no offense to the statement as our program is in a different place than Georgia’s over the last few years.

It also helps that he lands the most blue chip players year in and year out, otherwise you better believe he would be raiding the transfer portal.

Immediately after the game in his post game interview with the CBS sideline reporter Kirby Smart stated that they had two weeks to prepare for Tennessee offense.
Did he misspeak or did they overlook Florida?
That exactly what he said. I don't believe that for a second. Bowl Cut just trying to stay in our heads by trolling us.

I'm already licking my chops for another shot at them and hope CJH/team are doing the same in the back of their minds. We can do better than what we did on Saturday. Now, we got something to prove. I hope the cards play out for us to head to Atlanta, so we can get some peaches!

Lol. As soon as I read Japanese, I knew this was going to be interesting.

Had a Japanese/American ex gf. On the rare occasion she wore the traditional garb, she was the perfect picture of Asian beauty. Hurt your teeth to look at her she was so sweet. Easily the most demure, calm, and passive person I have ever met-99% of the time. Once in a blue moon though.......my goodness. I knew to get out and get out fast

Doubt the comment had anything to do with TN. He was questioned during the preseason about losing guys in the portal (notably the frightened kid at Bama) and not bringing in a WR or 2 and another RB. His answer has always been he likes his team. I would imagine it was more a statement aimed at those that questioned him after effectively clinching the east.

Trash program, worst fans in sports, period.

Still amazes me how many Vols in here see fit to lick their boots and offer up huge praise. Trust me, their fans have not one ounce of intention to offer any praise for Tennessee when we start beating them, and we will. Their world begins and ends at Georgia football, and they require constant affirmation that they are the "bestest ever".

I despise Alabama, Florida, etc, but I have respect for the programs and generally have had good interactions with their more mature fans. Georgia fans, with RARE exceptions, are annoying, insufferable, needy, and utterly passive aggressive.

Kirby is a better version of the modern day Phil Fulmer, except much less likable. He beat us with talent alone. His reign will be short.
You think the undressing of our offense was just talent alone? Bama had talent and we scored 52 on them. Saturday was talent and gameplan working together. We can not like him and give credit for good coaching at the same time.

They had a perfect plan and perfect execution. Can they do that again when we face them in the CFP? I doubt it. Plus Heup will have some more wrinkles to negate their gameplan.

Kirby is at place where it’s impossible to fail.

Loads of talent in Georgia every year.

He’s never had a shortage of talent everywhere he’s been.

I hate bumping up this post, but IMO Kirby has the same problem with the NIL/Portal as his Dark Master, Saban: namely, both make their talent hoarding strategy obsolete. Now, instead of taking years to build a team, great coaching staffs with budgets and an eye for talent can pull together great teams literally in months with a free agency model. The model of building a lasting dynasty by keeping talent from your competitors is over because the talent is now free to roam where the money and opportunity take them. Unless GA and Bama can (forgive me) shift their paradigm, they're going to continue fading.

It would be very surprising if people postings on fan sites had any actual knowledge about their teams' prep.
