I'm with these guys. I'm not really giving any credibility to any "reports" regardless of the source until I hear something from Dave Hart or an official UT AD representative. I am also not going to call for Dave Hart's job when he hasn't even hired anyone yet. These are all just rumors guys, we need to take things with a grain of salt and stop with the emotional responses.

Yes, let's get some more lil Rammers Jammers in here since the others have worked out so well. Or we could hire one of the handful of coaches that Dooley managed to beat during his historic reign of loserdom. Maybe we can double their salaries and give them gargantuan buyouts so that we can maximize our losses.

My gut tells me it's going to be Kirby Smart. I think he has been Hart's guy all along.

No we're not...Jones accepted the Colorado job last I heard and Smart doesn't qualify under Harts "Head coaching experience" statement...Why do people make up this stuff...Seriously.."Edit" Opps looks like Jones turned down Colorado....Says he is staying at Cincy..Alrighty then

He might be a great hire, just not for Tn after the Sunseri fiasco. It would show that Hart can only hire people currently employeed at his previous job though.

Butch Jones is a proven head coach, with a good winning record. He wants the job, give it to him.

Yah lets hire a guy that has proven NOTHING outside of working for Saban. I mean Dooley didn't break ALL the bad records, we still haven't lost 8 games in a season and I'm sure with Smart at the lead for the next 3+ years we can finally break that record and many more bad records we never thought would be possible at UT. Lets hire Smart NOW!!!!

The Sunseri Fiasco was bad, but that was our fault. He was never a DC in the SEC and it showed, he has never been at a place to long )besides the panthers) because he is not that great, hes a floater. Kirby has Muschamp like ability and MAY become something special. We could get him early while the pickin' is right
