Worst fans I have encountered. The obnoxious level was unbearable at the Citrus Bowl with their precious Heistman boy Eddie. ABSOLUTELY. HATE. ALL. OF. THEM!

Never been unfortunate enough to be around them at a game but have 2 friends from the browneye errr I mean the buckeye state and they believe that college football was invented by the Big10 and OSU and constantly spew how the Rose bowl is the greatest bowl ever. 3Hl on 1045 the zone had Eddie on the other day about tressel and he of course took up for him. They asked how it finally felt beating an SEC team if it holds up and he said not bad but Ark is not really an SEC team and that he would hold off until they beat one of the big boys and then went on to say why does Nashville sports talk about SEC so much since the only school they have is Vandy. That legends and leaders name they have for the new Big10 divisions is gay....should be renamed teams that have been beaten by the SEC and teams that will be beaten by the SEC

No, I've just spent a lot of time around the OSU fan base. UT fans (except for Gibbs and Vegasvol) always expect to be good. OSU fans think championships are their god given right.

and I thought Bama, had the rights to Championship expectations```

I'd say you need to take off the orange colored glasses. We have about the same percentage of idiots.

The fact that we allowed Fulmer to destroy the football team proves that we're not nearly as delusional about our expectations.

Consider yourself lucky you haven't encountered them. A 77 y/o man tried to start crap with me. I was completely minding my own business BEFORE the game. None of them would look you in the eye AFTER the game. That, and several other experiences at the game, taught me that I have a nearly unfathomable amount of hatred for 'fans' of a sports team at my disposal to tap. My hatred is fomenting just recalling the experience. Suckeyes can pound sand with a rubber mallett...

thats really funny.

Back to the topic at hand though, he must have really been getting it bad from people in Columbus in order for him to uproot his family and leave.

Its pretty sad if you think about it, he has young children that will have to change schools and all the challenges that brings.

I'd like to think that if Andy Kelly or Heath Shuler lived in Knoxville and did the same job Herbie does we'd treat them better than the Buckeyes treated KH.

People like Nashville because those of stature are left alone. His boys will be going to ensworth. He's been in town for awhile.

This guy is a joke, he is about as objective as Paul Finebaum. Kirk might has well go to work for the Big Ten network because nothing that comes out of his mouth about another conference could ever be taken seriously.

"Nobody loves Ohio State more than me," said Herbstreit, a former Buckeyes quarterback. "I still have a picture of Woody Hayes and my dad (Jim, a former OSU player) in my office, and nobody will do more than I do for the university behind the scenes. To continue to have to defend myself and my family in regards to my love and devotion to Ohio State is unfair. From a sports perspective, this is rough," he said. "I love Ohio State."

Totally bro. I can't believe how he's acting in that pic. Getting excited on the OSU sideline with other players and fans when his school's about to win the national championship. Unprofessional.

He moved to Vandytown because most folks in middle Tennessee don't realized that Vandy is still fielding a football team.

That way if he hates on them, nobody will even be aware of it.

KH is good for college football. I welcome him and his family to the South.

Dang Nashville has been invaded by northerners in the last 15 years worse than Sherman went through Atlanta!! Well anyway welcome to Tennessee and well to the south.

So why move to Nashville? You work for ESPN, why not move to Connecticut? You could hate on whatevertheheck conference they play in and nobody would know what you were talking about.

The reason he moved to Tennessee is because there there aren't state income taxes. The state, local, and property taxes are mind-boggling. Hopefully Kasich will change that.
