Hmmm. Interesting. Which one is Haith?

Haith is Miami's coach. Do we really want him?

Well, I think that they just lost in the first round of the NIT. I believe it said their record was 16-13 this year. This is what they wrote about Haith.

"Haith is a well-traveled coach, just completing his first season as a head coach at Miami with a 16-13 record.

Since 1990, the native New Yorker has been an assistant coach at UNC-Wilmington (1990-92), Texas A&M (1992-95 and 1996-97), Penn State (1995-96), Wake Forest (1997-2001) and Texas (2001-2004).

While at Texas, Haith helped coach Rick Barnes to two Sweet 16 appearances and a Final Four berth from 2002-04."

On Cold Pizza, Woody Paige - a University of Tennessee alum, and Skip Bayless both agreed that the possibility of Knight coming to Knoxville is very high. Skip said he'd go wherever the money was and complained about him being a walking billboard. One of them then said that since UT is a huge Adidas school that may also help bring Knight to Knoxville. Wow, who would have thought a sponsor for your athletic program could help reel in a top name coach like Knight. There's just more and more rumbles about Knight and Tennessee that I feel if something doesn't just blow up he'll be in K-town very soon.

wemons Baksketball

2345, not being mean, but I think the Lady Vols might be insulted by your spelling of "women's" in a couple of these threads. I know it rhymes with "lemons," but that's just part of the fun we have with our native tongue.

As for "baksketball" -- you're on your own there.

I read that about Adidas. I also read where they were talking to Knight about hunting and fishing in East Tennessee. Also, his old buddy Don DeVoe lives in Knoxville.

Knight is an intelligent guy, that is why I see him taking Tennessee into consideration. Well, that and the money we are going to throw at him.
