Knoxville Restaurants

Anyone eaten at the new Stefanos in Turkey Creek? Haven’t had Stefanos in years.

Also, what about restaurants with good (cheap) specials? I know Smokey Mountain Brewery has $5 Burgers on Wednesday. Calhoun’s has burger night on Monday.

Buffalo Wild Wings used to have traditional wing specials during the week, on Tuesday I believe, but now they only have specials on boneless wings (not a fan). At least that’s the way it was last time I checked.

Many restaurants around Knoxville are using the "Hooked" app for flash specials. Lots of places, especially closer to campus.

?? I was just confirming that the best nights during the year for a visit to a restaurant are Thursdays. People outside the industry don't always know that.

I certainly didn't know that. I am one of the patrons who hates to wait in line and crowded restaurants in general. I will have to start hitting Thursdays. Thanks.

Just wondering the last time you waited in line for a table and where in Knoxville?

Last time I was in Knoxville, I met up with some old college buddies and crawled Gay St. Had a wait at Suttree's, DTG&B, and Nama. Pretty much had to either stand up and drink or go elsewhere.

Guess what night of the week it was.

Hint: it rhymes with Caturday.

Thursday nights at Nama's is a hard table to get as well.

The Nama is Nashville was disappointing both times I went.

I fear they've lost their way with all this expansions.

That sucks. We ate at the Gay St location about a month ago and I remember thinking how impressive it was that it has stayed so consistently good.

HEar nothing but good things about it and I don’t even eat sushi. Maybe they spread themselves a little thin but open table, Facebook, and trip adviser all have the nashville local at 4.5 plus so I can’t see it as being that bad.
