Why did we pI'll our offer to McCune. We can't afford not to recruit a big. I just hope we are so locked up on one big that we end up with no big.

People are saying she was terrible this summer. I've never saw her play live, but from a video of some AAU action that took place in the summer, I was amazed that we were recruiting her at all. Just because someone is 6'4" doesn't mean you just hand them a scholarship even if you are in a desperate situation. To keep up with the top teams and compete for championships, you must sign elite talent. I know its risky, but we will need elite talent to keep up and not saying McCune can't become a great post player, as of now there are many post players that are much better than her. Hopefully we will sign McCoy.

The fact that McCune couldn't get an offer from Louisville tells me everything one needs to know about her. The last project player we signed was Moore and she has progressed to the point that we should be able to get ten good minutes out of her. That is really not enough to give a four year scholarship. I am very glad we have her however it would look bad in the post if we didn't. Really not enough recruiting information for women's basketball. I expect were recruiting more than McCoy of the bigs left. I'm leaving out Holmes and Cox who are long shots to come to Tennessee at best.
Fingall is a very nice player has a great three point stroke. I have no information if we are working to get her. I have heard in the past we were recruiting her. The first thing I would say is we have plenty of playing time at Tennessee in the post. Come and play next season.

Higgins was awesome for Chaminade this year but so was Odom. Higgins averaged 14ppg and almost 10rpg and Odom averaged 17ppg and 6rpg. Odom switched schools after her freshman year because Mater Dei was her dream school and was close enough to Los Alamitos. Unfortunately there were issues with safety in the area they lived and the family decided to move. An article quoted her dad as saying she was very sad to leave and from people I know that are around the Mater Dei program echoed the same thing. I haven't heard of her switching schools this year but she is definitely worth recruiting.

You are going on an article written after most schools stopped recruiting her due to her poor attitude and pouty behavior on the court. According to my sources nearly all of the west coast schools dropped her. Higgins even switched to a different club team after playing with her at Chaminade due to her attitude. Higgins was the player of the year not Odom. My sources also told me she never moved and the family is a nightmare.

She must possess a lot of talent for Tennessee to continue to recruit her. I think she may come on an official visit to Tennessee also. If her family is worse than Kaela's mom, than the staff may want to think twice. Do you think her family will follow her from the west coast if she decided to sign with a school on the east coast?

I've heard the same thing. Because of this, I'm somewhat surprised Tennessee is recruiting her, especially with little need at her position.

Her family isn't worse than the Davises because NOBODY is worse than them. They have to be the worst family in the frickin' world. Seriously. I will say that the transferring of schools and AAU teams, etc. does sound a lot like Kaela, though.

And it's harder to be a nightmare when you're on the opposite coast. SWG's family was a nightmare because they followed her to Knoxville like a travelling circus. But I don't think they would follow her like SWG's family did.

Weren't they upset because SWG wasn't the soul focal point of Tennessee
