talk about obstacles to getting his commitment...

"What are UGA’s chances of signing Geathers? UGA recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner is a close friend of his family, and older brother Robert Geathers played at UGA.

However, another one of his brothers, Clifton Geathers, committed to UGA but later signed with South Carolina, where he is a current member of the Gamecocks."

In regards to Kwame's visit to the UGA locker room, per Rivals article---

["I loved that locker room, but everything there is so nice. Cordy was my host, and he is a real cool guy," said Geathers.]

I'm hoping he's color blind. If it still looks like this, I would throw up. Red ceiling and fluorescent lights...:ill_h4h:

He must have an offer if this is true, and possibly visiting this weekend.

"Kwame is focused on Georgia, UCF and Tennessee and will make his choice after signing day."

Interesting gene pool.

Amazing that one family can churn out some many SEC caliber athletes.

Why is he only a 3* if he has that many physical tools? Grade/character issues, raw, bad instincts? Theres gotta be something.

Pros
Great Size
Good Motor
Reestablishes the LOS well
Surprisingly quick off the ball
Nasty
Was athletic enough to play some DE in High School
Doesn't hurt that he plays DT

Cons
Doesn't play with great leverage
Didn't move side to side very well
Some questions about his grades
I don't know what kind of competition he was playing against but it didn't look very good

Some consider Geathers a top 100 type talent. He just didn't camp, send out videos or try to hard to get recruited, just like all the other Geathers. Might have some issues getting in and might have some character flaws.

Most people are recuiting him for OL. ESPN says an OG.

I read he wants to stay on the DL and Monty/Coach O may be able to make that happen.

Coach O = "DL with 5 inches between theirs eyes and a hate for all quarterbacks."

Does UT still have an offer out there? And what is his timeline for commiting?

I think there may be room issues with UGA, and SC. I could be wrong, I know we have room and would think the offer is still on the table since he is visiting.

This kid would be a nice addition to a good class, we need all the depth we can get.

We need body's, running backs are a dime a dozen.

Not the #1 recruit in the country and the #1 AP back in the country. They seem to be alot more than a dime a dozen. Who would have the best chance to play for 3-4 years?
