Kiffin said that there was an O-lineman on a visit, so apparently that is where Kiffin sees him.

Hopefully coach kiff will allow him to play defense like he wants...this guy is a sleeper that could really help with our line problems that need immediate attention

If he can contribute anything on D, Orgeron will put him there. One thing UT fans need not worry about is our line recruits. Ed Orgeron is the best in the business at judging line talent.

Was this guy always on our list? He looks like someone a player we should have been talking about more. I know it's hard to get excited about big uglies, but this guy could open some holes for Bryce and Oku.

Yes, I said 'and.' Those guys can play together. It's not going to be a one back offense. This fall, if the OL does its job, UT's going run the shoes off these RB's.

Coach O was sitting 3 rows in front of me. There were a couple of people with him and I assume the biggest guy was Geathers

Saw Coach O take him a coke

hahahahahahha! No idea why that made me laugh so hard, but it did!

Good for us, that kid has all the physical tools to be a GREAT d-lineman, its just the mental side of the game, and Coach O can make him a man!

Just wondering... think Urban would have some sort of kitty fit if he knew Coach O was buyin' recruits drinks? :p

I'm not familiar enough with the NCAA rules, but it could be that it's okay to buy him the drink, but it's a secondary violation for bringing it to him.

We may need to self-report to save Urban, Foley, and the SEC all the time it would take to reprimand Kiffin for such rude and unfair conduct. :)

Id take this man and Hughes to the buffet.

KG wants to play defense and I don't think that he will sign under the pretenses of being an OL...he wanted to play DL at S Carolina but Spurrier would only offer him as a OL. He also will probably not qualify (as I doubt that UT would have lower qualifications than S Carolina). FWIW, he may be a sign and place for you guys however there are other Geathers that signed went to prep school and then signed elsewhere the following year. Good luck at getting him for the OL if that is what you need

If CEO and CMK want this kid on the defensive side of the ball, imo, i dont think there is anyway we don't get him. That could be why we haven't offered yet. CEO might want to see more of him before he commits to letting him play on defense.

Yeah, there is no doubt that he would sign with you guys, IMO, if offered at the DL...he is a good prospect for a good family and also of note, he has a cousin coming up (a safety prospect) whose last name is also Geathers in the 2010 class. Regardless, I really felt that Spurrier should have offered him but he will be a great pickup for you guys if you so choose!
