Scoring 26 vs their pitiful defensive effort isn’t a fluke. Hitting like 8 of 10 3s like RD did, is pretty unusual, even for a great player.

Seems like they were able to make things harder on DK so maybe dying “no defense” is a bit much. They definitely are still trying to learn some of the help defense concepts. Their abject failure on defending in bounds plays were a joke.

He had 16 points and missed several open shots that he normally makes and played 5 fewer minutes per game than his average.

It had nothing to do with Kentucky’s defense, and to suggest so is kinda wild considering they gave up 103 points.

Two of the best Defensive players in the game and they said irrelevant? Add to that one of the premier PG’s. I’ll tell what’s irrelevant and that’s a basketball team without a defense!
