They were terrible. You would think that Bobby Gaston was back calling games again. The TD that they called back was particularly bad, because there just wasn't indisputable video evidence to overturn. They don't have replay in the Big 10, so they're not used to getting it right.

Just got back to the hotel after a nice day in Memphis. Really enjoyed the barbecue and the good weather.

This was a historic win for UK. Three straight bowls, the first time since the Bear. Also three straight bowl wins, the first time in Kentucky football history.

They went in as an underdog, and I didn't really think that they would pull it off given how they finished the season, but getting the defense healthy made all the difference.

I'm proud of my guys tonight.

Thanks. It's a sign that Kentucky is improving.

Hartline had to make several visits to the necessary room during the game to answer nature's urgent call. It was one gutsy performance, pardon the pun.
