The best part of the race was the spin Edwards give Kyle after Kyle sideswiped him. That was great. :)

This has to go up with the Earnhardt/Labonte, Gordon/Wallace finishes that I've watched at the Bristol night race.

I'm not the biggest racing fan in the world but Mr. Ed is starting to grow on me. I too wish that Edwards would have only hit him harder.

I was surprised about his second interview honestly. Richmond should be interesting. Neither are racing for points and will both be going for the win. Kyle would have to be a complete idiot to wreck Carl at California next week at those high speeds. Hopefully this will spark the beginning of the next big rivalry in Nascar.

this is off topic but what the hell was Jr thinking passing all those cars before the start/finish line?? thats one of the stupidest moves ive ever seen

I was at that first one. Wasn't a good night for me as I'm a Dale Jarrett fan.. he ended up wrecking on around lap 50...

But one of the greatest finishes I've ever seen. Although I was in denial for quite awhile since I wanted Labonte to win bad. Couldn't believe he spun him out on the last turn.. was a great finish though.

Alot of them checked up, Jr had a great start and could not slow enough avoid hitting them and therefore he pulled outside and shot by them. Any other track start 40th he has time to get back in line...at Bristol, no such luck.

last night was the best Bristol has been since the resurfacing. It just depends on what you like to see. I personally liked the old style where there was only one groove, and everybody fought over that area on the track. I'm sure there are people who enjoy seeing the side by side racing as well, but to me Bristol has lost a little of what used to make it great.

Too bad Fox wasn't covering the race last night. I could just hear Larry Mac going on his rant about tearing up good race cars that the drivers don't have to fix with Busch and Edwards hitting each other. Also, to hear DW when Clint Bowyer called Mikey the worst driver in Nascar would have been great too.

What sucks is that for the next 493 laps he couldn't get the free pass. I believe this is 7 consecutive races without a top 10. 4 of those races they could have been top 5 but squandered it away. I expect another struggle this upcoming week at Cali, but JR should have a serious shot at Richmond.

I had a (crap) eating grin on my face for about an hour after i heard that, Clint just vocalized what everyone has thought for a while now.

He had few chances with alot of laps remainging but when he was first a lap down Busch would lap the field again and put others in front of him!!! He Eury were going at it over my scanner. For as bad as it started plus the 40th pos, 18th ain't so bad.

its not bad but think about what it could have been without losing a lap... its just always something stupid that costs him.. between him and Eury Jr its like dumb & dumber go racing

That story would hold water if he had only passed two or three cars, but jeez he must have passed ten cars. He could have slowed down before that. JMO.

I'm a jr fan and sometimes it's hard for me to criricize him , but he acted like he just finished a stupid stick before he got in his car.:cool2::crazy:

i know they've be running pretty well most of the season, but it's mistakes like last night that will keep you from winning a championship. add that to some questionable calls throughout the year from his crew chief and it's going to be pretty hard for them to overcome.

it they can do it, it will only make it that much more impressive. one thing is for sure, the 88 team is going to have to ramp it up when the Chase starts.

Agreed KB is a wuss! I mean Steven Wallace and Mike Skinner have both backed him down in the past. Won't be long until he gets Spencered in the airport! The next target should be Bowyer! Is anything ever his fault? After trashing Edwards and Ruetiman (sp) now he attacks poor ole MW! How many Daytonas have you won Mr. Bowyer? Put MW in Bowyer"s equipment and he would have as good if not better results than Clint. He is fast becoming the driver I love to hate! KB is KB but Bowyer is a pompus ass!
