kyle busch is a wuss

Agreed KB is a wuss! I mean Steven Wallace and Mike Skinner have both backed him down in the past. Won't be long until he gets Spencered in the airport! The next target should be Bowyer! Is anything ever his fault? After trashing Edwards and Ruetiman (sp) now he attacks poor ole MW! How many Daytonas have you won Mr. Bowyer? Put MW in Bowyer"s equipment and he would have as good if not better results than Clint. He is fast becoming the driver I love to hate! KB is KB but Bowyer is a pompus ass!

No way, Clint Bowyer is a nice guy, he just lost his cool, which is part of being competitive and racing. It wasn't MW's fault this time, Mears said it was his spotter's fault but MW has torn up plenty of race cars which would lead someone to blaming him for the wreck. Bowyer said as much on TV by saying he stuck his foot in his mouth by calling Mikey out and that it was the heat of the moment caught on radio. I'll take Clint Bowyer any day of the week over Waltrip.

i feel bad for MW at times. he always seems to be in a wreck. a lot of the times it seems its not his fault when you look at the replays. just bad equipment so he's stuck w/ the guys who can't drive, therefore he gets tangled up in wrecks due to their bad driving.

i don't see that busch has a lot of room to complain, i clearly recall him putting Dale Jr. into the fence at Richmond earlier this year when Jr. with less than 5 laps to go when Jr. was leading the race. i've never cared for either of the Busch brothers but Kyle has long since replaced Kurt as my least favorite driver in the series. Kurt seems to have grown up a little bit since Jimmy Spencer clocked him a few years back.

That happened at Michigan, and Spencer was suspended the next week at Bristol. That was the first time I had ever been to Bristol, and there were lots of people with "Free Mongo" shirts and signs, and when Busch won the race was the loudest booing I have ever heard.

Well Michael Waltrip has managed to win 4 races in 712 attempts while Clint Bowyer has 2 wins in 96 races. Clint Bowyer has also made a chase which is one more than Michael Waltrip has ever made. The wins Waltrip did get, at Daytona, were as hard as him holding his foot down on the gas pedal. At that time DEI was king of restrictor plate racing.

Michael Waltrip is a stiff. he was lucky that DEI hit big on the plates tracks when they did, or he'd be nothing more than an also ran to everybody.

how many Chases has MW made? i'll take Boyer over him any day.

Let me get this straight

Busch is running second and makes contact with JR and Busch is the bad guy at Richmond.

Same scenario at Bristol and Edwards is second and makes contact with the Busch and Busch is a wuss?

And this coming from a JR fan. Edwards and Busch aren't even in the same area code for me to root for, but people should just admit that both are incredible drivers and anyway you criticize them; at the end of the day they're both always in contention and will carry the sport for the next 10+ years. That's just fact, accept it.

As for Waltrip, remind me again how many chases he's made? Bowyer? I will give MW credit for one thing, he endorses himself on every show possible and used his brother's name to get his foot into racing. He'll live a comfortable life from here out, but it's just ridiculous to call him a better driver than Bowyer.

nice to see others are starting to notice the double standard when it comes to Kyle Busch and the fans reactions to his behavior, both on or off the track.

and really, what did Kyle do? he gave him a nudge after the race, and then Carl proceeded to slam into him and spin him out. neither one of them was really acting like a grown up in that situation. Edwards could have come out smelling like a rose had he just kept on going, but no, he had to hit Kyle.

Kyle gave a nudge? They showed the in car camera on Edwards and it knocked him pretty good, twice. Carl hitting Busch was more of a nudge if anything, he didn't hit him nearly as hard, just pushed his car around. I think the fans were more excited about a guy getting a taste of his own medicine more than it being a double standard. Not to mention, Jr. acted like an adult after Richmond while Busch starts babbling about how "if that's how he wants to race" and "Mr. Ed" comments. Busch knows that Carl Edwards would stomp his arse if they had a run-in away from the track so he won't do anything about it.

unless racing turns into WWE or UFC, who cares who can kick whose ass off the race track. to suggest otherwise is just silly. that's like saying my dad can kick your dad's butt. it won't ever happen so there's no need to bring it up. besides, i've met plenty of guys who were all muscle/talk and no walk.

like i've said before, it's OK to have the double standard, just don't get defensive when somebody points it out.

Get defensive? Are you kidding? You get defensive every time someone post something you disagree with on a daily basis. And saying "it won't ever happen" is kind of funny coming from a Kurt Busch fan, you should know first hand that it can and will happen.

Busch wrecked Jr. that's the difference between the 2.

you're right, anybody can take a sucker punch on somebody else while they're still sitting in the tight confines of their car. it takes a real man to do something like that.

if just pointing out the double standard that revolves around NASCAR makes me defensive, then so be it.

Michael Waltrip did it.

And that's the main reason why everybody hates Kyle. He dared to wreck Mr Nascar. It's funny, but when Jr's dad was wrecking everybody on the track, those same Jr fans didn't seem to have a problem with it. It was just racing then. You can't have it both ways.

It appears that Busch and Edwards have great cars this weekend. Wouldn't be surprised to see both compete for the top 2 spots.

Good point. In fact, after the first Richmond race, Jr. said, "That's just racing." Did Kyle say the same thing after his run-in with Edwards?

I'm just glad Jr. was able to return the favor today.
