Kyle Busch

I can't stand Busch, but the sport needs someone just like him. He could care less about his image and as long as he continues dominating the sport who's to question what his philosophies are.

don't get me wrong i love some rowdy which is weird since i'm also a jr fan. que is doozer why do you hate on jr? it's not like he asked for all the fans

i agree with ya VM... at the race sunday during driver intros (of course) kyle got boo'd, jr got the biggest reaction... but after watchin kyle dominate, there werent nearly as many boo's after the race.. one beer can was thrown at him after he bowed, which he picked up and pretended to drink (i thought it was hilarious).. but there were many ppl applauding him after they boo'd him with all they had at the beginning... he's gettin more fans, he will never have nearly as many as Jr, but like he says, he wouldnt be able to play his "villain" role so perfectly if he had all the fans

and as far as him calling his crew ladies, he isnt half as hard on his crew as Jr is.. obviously it lifts everyones spirits to be out front the whole race, but Jr is really hard on his crew.. some things Jr said over the radio, "Were f*cked", "Yall sum b*itches are fatiguing on me, i can tell it.. yall better get your sh*t together", "TJ (or PJ or whatever his spotters name is) what the f*** are you doing up there? at least tell me your working"

i cant believe Jr takes up for Tony Jr as much as he does, after what they go through during a race.. i know theyre cousins so everyone says they have a different relationship, but they fight back and forth the whole race on setups and strategy.. it just seems all the other drivers trust their crew chief and go with whatever decision they make.. Jr questioned every one of their changes and even said on the radio after the race that he didnt agree with some of them.. its like he knows Eury Jr isnt very good, but wont turn his back on his family.. man, i hope Hendrick does something soon.. its also like Jr doesnt have teammates.. the 5, 24, and 48 had strong runs all day and made changes as the track changed.. Jr would ask what his teammates are doing and Eury Jr would just move on to something else.. Jr also never has any idea whats going on during the race.. with 40 laps to go he said on the radio he thought there was 80 to go

He was messing with them for sure. I just don't understand why he gets so bent out of shape over a Nationwide race for a pit road mistake. If he really wants to be pissed, give him a ride of the quality that Bobby Hamilton Jr. would get and see how he feels.

I think he would get bent out of shape if he was racing his grandma in a soap box derby car and lost. He is a racer and wants to win no matter what he's driving. Also he is racing for the Nationwid championship so every position is important to him. He doesn't take a penny from Billy Ballew in the truck series. He tells him to keep the money and make his team better. I wasn't a big fan of his in the beginning but I kinda like him now. He reminds me of Tony a little (just a little). He is outspoken and a hard racer but off the track he is a diffrent person.

many great points brought up i this thread. i have hated Kyle Busch as much as the next guy, but the spark that he has brought to Nascar is very much needed. At the Coke 600 last year, during the introductions, when they parade the drivers around the track, almost all the drivers were giving half hearted, "whatever," waves to the crowd. Kyle Busch is standing up in his convertible, flashing rock hands to the booing crowd. At the Nationwide race in Bristol, Saturday, Denny Hamlin walked right by us, going into the tunnel. we couldnt even as much as get the @ssh@le to look at us, let along smile and wave. small things like that make a lasting impression on me, because i get to go to very few races. it is like someone posted in another thread. you hate the guy but you are always looking for him on the track.

I was just thinking about Kyle's last year with Hendrick. Remember the race when Kyle wrecked and then he threw a fit and left the track. It was Dale Jr. that had to get into his car to finish the race once the car was repaired. I guess it's ok for Kyle to let the crew down but heaven forbid if they make a mistake. I don't remember Kyle's crew throwing him under the bus after that race.

I would hope that Gordon, Johnson, Stewart, Edwards and all the guys out there would get upset. I wouldn't want a driver that didn't care in my car. I also don't question Kyle as a decent guy, I can see him doing that and not taking money to drive the truck. He gave Sam Ard a donation of $100k which is awesome. I only question him keeping his emotions together when dealing with his team and not throwing them under the bus. It might be hard for him to control but he should work on it in my opinion. I strongly believe Nascar is a team sport and the drivers get too much blame and too much credit for results. They let him down that day and he will let them down at some point. That is the way it goes in racing.

No one has mentioned that he runs for free for Billy Ballew Motorsports. That tells me all I need about how badly he likes to race.

I just don't like Kyle Busch cause he looks like a retarded turtle. His racing skills cannot be denied.

i pick all my drivers based on looks too.

I didn't see anyone in this thread say anything about picking drivers based on looks. I have more reasons than that for not liking the little punk. No need to be a smartass.

hmmm...

then list those reasons because commenting on not liking a driver because he's ugly will only bring you ridicule.

Pay no attention. It will be funny watching Kyle win another 8 or 9 races this season and finishing 10th in the chase. Then he can blame it all on his pit crew at the awards banquet.

Rowdy is really starting to grow on me, he gets such a kick out of being booed that its hard not to chuckle at his antics when interacting with the spectators.

Shrub put on some great driving out there tonight. Some of the moves he made in the final segment were nothing short of spectacular.
