Kyle Rittenhouse - The Truth in 11 Minutes

And, as a thought experiment regarding issues of character instead of guilt, what would be the refrain if Rosenbaum was actually threatened by a proven WS Rittenhouse, and then ran him down, grabbed the gun and shot and killed Rittenhouse. Could a convicted child rapist possibly be innocent of murder by claiming self defense??

I think the verdicts today were just. Even vigilantes have the right to defend themselves. I have no doubt that he will face civil suits, but the facts won't change. There were guns pointed at him, and he fired his weapon in defense of himself. I don't think he ever acted as the aggressor during the fatal exchanges, although some of his comments before the shootings were of a confrontational tone. I don't know enough about civil proceedings to discuss it intelligently, though. The burden of proof is lower than reasonable doubt. That's about all I can bring to the table on this one.
Thanks for the response.

Was it you who explained why the burden shifted in the criminal trial?

Considering he killed white people he must be the worst WS ever.

It would not shock me in the least to see the leftists media outlets come along shortly with a story that Kyle is actually color blind and fully intended to shoot only people with a different color skin than his, with Monty Foolthon, Luther and a few others lapping up every word of it, may even get a few posted links. Gotta have them links !

Maybe Rittenhouse is a black supremacist.

True but a preponderance of the evidence is a much lower standard than beyond reasonable doubt. It’s like dropping from being 100% sure of something to being 51% sure and that being good enough.

Understood, but where among all that evidence is the prosecution making up all that ground? Lowering the standard doesn't accomplish much if the jury isn't seeing anything that falls to that standard.

I'm not predicting how things may shake out but I do know what was submitted in the criminal trial and it was pretty persuasive.

Got home a little while ago, happy to see there has been no widespread violence. At least it doesn't look like it so far. I think the weather is a factor working in the favor of calm.

This crap would not of even happened if the police community were allowed to do their jobs. We all saw this a thousand miles away during the summer protests, Just let them vent their anger and loot and riot without recourse, So the Radical solution is to defund the police, so expect more of this.

Radicals hide their failed policies behind identity politics. You cannot counter their policies without being labeled a racist, homophobe, mysoginyst, whatever.

I don’t think it necessarily proves that Kyle Rittenhouse is a white supremacist. I think it’s more likely he was a 17 year old kid, in a bar, getting talked up by a bunch of older dudes - and he got caught up in the moment.

Idiots at Washington Post failed to select the right photo for their story. He threw it up.

Well he did give the white power sign while posing for a photo with some Proud Boys at a bar where he was illegally drinking beer.

Flashing the white power sign for a photo with some Proud Boys is pretty damn incriminating.

That depends on how you look at it , I know a guy that went full black face , stood beside a guy dressed in clan garb and his wife handed out bolls of cotton to little black kids but he isn’t a racist .

Whatever as irrelevant to the case..People are free to hate. We see that on all sides and we all partake.

Another thing Luther got wrong in his assessment of KR

"The drinking age in Wisconsin is 21. Those under the legal drinking age may be served, possess, or consume alcohol if they are with a parent, legal guardian, or spouse who is of legal drinking age."

He was with his mom at the bar.

Kinda like the crossing state lines with a weapon (he didn't)

Illegally possessing a fire arm (he wasn't).

So many of the "facts" of this case were wrong and even after being debunked get cited.
