Kyle Rittenhouse - The Truth in 11 Minutes

My take is that he was stupid and that his stupidity (along with others') led to two deaths.
The 2nd Amendment gives people the right to legally do many stupid things that will lead to unnecessary deaths.
That's the price our society is currently willing to pay.
I'd be okay if all the gun totin' extremists from both sides met up and took each other out.

Kind of like the right to vote.

Like I said, your problem is with the 2nd Amendment. You’re a textbook example of the socialist liberal left.
My problem is with the bastardization of the 2a, not with people being able to legally being able to purchase and own guns.
Not wanting a 3 year old playing with a machine gun doesn't mean you are anti 2a, it means you realize that there are rational and reasonable restrictions that should be in place.
Only an idiot would claim 2a doesn't leave room for restrictions.

I don't want clowns like you deciding what those restrictions are however. THAT would be a problem. Until then, the 2A will not have been "bastardized".

I think it is absurd that a 17 year old can legally carry that gun down the street. That's stupid and he was stupid and people died because of the stupidity.
Again most normal Americans and the Constitution don’t care what you think or feel. And for you to suggest it would’ve been better for an innocent kid to be dead is a horrendous statement. If your daughter was at a BLM protest and some violent felon attempted to kill her, you wouldn’t think that

Of course stupid people vote. That is precisely why their votes are limited. Can you imagine if they had unlimited votes or could vote in all the same ways as elected officials?

Guess that’s why we have background checks where only law abiding citizens are the only ones who can legally obtain a firearm.

It was the combination of stupidity. Had little Rambo not been stupid, the two dead people would be alive. But they were also stupid. Stupid on stupid.
You keep calling KR “Rambo”. Have you ever seen “First Blood”? He didn’t go into that little town looking for a fight and defended himself only after a series of unwarranted attacks against him.

You may be on to something with that comparison, but it doesn’t go in the direction you’re wanting it to go.

What I wish is that he would have stayed home and studied instead of being out playing some childish romanticized version of Rambo.
Your right....why stand up and protect people hard earned property so that POS can throw tantrums like babies and destroy lives....good call prof...SMH

That's certainly one perfect example of a rational and reasonable "restriction".
2a nuts hated that one at the time. Said something insane like it was a slippery slope and in a couple of years the guvm'nt would be knocking on your doors trying to confiscate your guns.

Never saw it. But it seems even more appropriate after your description.
The glorified notion of some gun totin' misunderstood macho guy taking holy vengeance on an evil public.

He’s simply not that bright

No, actually he was a Vietnam Vet suffering from PTSD. But you can keep on being an SOB, no one’s going to stop you.

It could definitely be a slippery slope if we allow it to be. It was a reasonable concession but of course if you give an inch they try to take a mile. Not happening.

I would be okay if you would go eat rat poison.
