Kyle Rittenhouse - The Truth in 11 Minutes

I'll go out on a limb and say that is complete BS.
I've never tried to dodge any question - unlike almost every poster in the PF.
If someone stopped a shooting, of course I would be happy.
It's a ridiculous question with an easy answer.
The fact that you remember it as some type of "got you" moment is hilarious.
How about this. You find the string of posts that support your failed memory, and I'll gladly eat crow.
How about we just let it go. It’s really not that important. Plus you just admitted it again anyway. You want gun control until YOU’RE in a life or death situation.

Of course I want gun control.
BUT where did I ever say that people shouldn't be able to own or even carry guns?
Good luck.
This will be another one we just drop because you will not be able to find anything to support your accusation.
I got the chuckle this time.

Undermining the COTUS is a true commie goal

I lived and worked there for 9 years. My daughters have gone to school, lived, and worked in Atlanta for the past 7 and 8 years. I know hundreds of people living in Atlanta. I don't know a single one who feels the need to carry around extra mags.
We obviously have some different perspectives and the reasons why are also obvious.
You guys have been so conditioned to live in fear it's ridiculous.
I guess it's the whole rural/urban divide.
Which side of the divide is most steeped in ignorance is obvious.
Why do you think someone that carries a gun is living in fear?

Well we just two chucklin mo fos then because I know you remember the conversation. You’re back and forth. There would have been no reason to send you that message if you weren’t arguing against concealed carry. So why should I start digging to prove it as if people on this board don’t read your nonsense?

I never said that. Again with the false accusations.
I was commenting on a person needing extra mags to drive through Atlanta.
That seems to be on the motivated by fear end of the continuum.

I don't doubt that they read, I just doubt that they comprehend and process. Obviously you fall into that category.

I comprehend just fine. You were arguing against concealed carry. So I put you in a scenario where you would be thankful for those who carry guns. Now you’re arguing that you support those who carry. Which is it Luther? If you’ve since changed your position, we can all respect that but don’t try and deny that just a few months ago your stance was different

My stance wasn't different. It's all in your head and in your misunderstanding.
I have always claimed that there should be a required permit with appropriate background check and assured training.
Maybe you should start reading things twice.

So you’re saying you’ve always agreed with how things are now?

Not at all.
What you just described IS exactly how it is. Now you’re trying to claim you don’t need a permit? It’s called a CCW. You don’t need a background check? It’s called an ATF form 4473 every time you purchase a gun. Don’t need training? That’s called a concealed weapons CLASS to demonstrate proficiency.

Let's be honest, "proficiency" is a really strong word for putting one round down range

Once again, find a question I dodged.
Then all of Vol Nation can have another hearty laugh.
The unsupported accusation game is strong on this board.

From Post #2811 yesterday, a response to you:

"Do enlighten us to the obvious reasons, please."

While technically not in the form of a question, it was a request. So TECHNICALLY in this instance you did not dodge a question, but if it suits you better, I'll ask it as a question: Would you enlighten us to the obvious reasons, please?"

The training thing I can somewhat agree with. Half of me thinks you should have to show proficiency on a tactical coarse to gain a CCW. However, the other half of me feels the constitution IS your permit and shouldn’t be denied.

How are you going to 'assure' that training?

"Papers please" - Just a small part of the Marxist utopia that you aspire to turn our country into.

That boldened word is something I find continually more irksome when discussing other people's actions. (and I'm not remotely limiting that observation to you or this topic) In this particular context if a person is traveling in an area where they personally assess the risk is higher than their normal environment and feel an increased loadout might be prudent/warranted then anyone else's take on their "need" is pretty weak sauce.
