Well, that's simply not true. I remember vividly in 92 during the LA riots that there were riots in Atlanta and other cities. I was working in Atlanta and was escorted by state police to my car. There was destruction in Atlanta and other cities.

I will say I have always been impressed how Rodney King was able to take this incident and turn his life around for the better while inspiring young black youths to do the same. Its really helped reduce crime in their communities.

There was absolutely a hunger for news that wasn't homogenized into the same story. If wish to argue (correctly) that there is bias in the "news" then the only possible way to make an informed decision is to avail oneself of both sides.

Just as a for instance at one point it was considered lunacy of the highest order (from one side) that Covid was a gain of function lab leak. Now it's gone mainstream.
