Didn't want to say anything negative while he was here, but never seemed to add up. The kid was actively posting in this thread, which I don't think I've ever seen. And then no recruiting services were covering him, which seems unusual this late in the game. He wasn't followed by any our coaches on Twitter (not even Tee Martin, who is the WR coach and follows virtually all of our targets). His "commitment" was only covered by some small local affiliate of ESPN, which was unusual. He called us "Tennessee University", which sounds like he only learned of our existence in the past week. Oh, and absolutely no one seemed to be confirming the information other than the kid himself.

Always felt like something was off. Was hoping he was a PWO, but sounds like miscommunication. Would've loved to have had him as a PWO admittedly; seems like he could develop into a good WR.

I remember there was a kid a few years back following a bunch of schools, he wasn’t ranked anywhere but had a rivals page and kept posting his top schools and highlight tapes and what not on Twitter and nobody seemed to know who he was. He would announce visits and just show up at schools, but not get past the gate. It was weird, like he was fishing and hoping he could trick a school into giving him a scholarship.
