I’m in the camp that I’ll believe until he picks us (boom) or he doesn’t (oh, well) and I move on. Grilling a new poster is exactly why we don’t get ‘insider’ info much anymore. Who the hell cares one way or another? That was a part that made keeping up with recruiting fun.

Good points. But a few caveats. One OSU was 12th in pass defense last year in the B10. So their pass defense was not good. Second, Perdue was down their best WR David Bell against us. And Perdues QB McConnell didn’t light everybody up.

Yes. They pick someone else I just go to the next possibles. It’s fun having people say what they’re hearing. It doesn’t take long to see who knows nothing without any ridicule or 3rd degree. And people may be hearing something that’s not true or something changed their mind. If it tears you to shreds to get your hopes up then why torture yourself here? Why can’t you just put them on ignore and let the rest of us enjoy ourselves?

That is only our excuse. Sadly as garbage as the Longhorns have been they somehow convince people they belong in the Top 25 preseason poll every year amd clearly the recruits don't care that they underperform more often than not.

Imagine being in the Big 12 and still only end up winning 5 games last year.

Those stats are misleading…. Illinois and Norte Dame games…. He was splitting time…. Won the job outright starting with the Minnesota game…. The only bad game was against Wisconsin with an average game against Nebraska… high % completed but lower ypc….. the Indiana game… he was 26-31- 278- 4 TDs-0 ints…the guy was pretty dominant all year long once he was named the starter.
