Not sure about a kid who has questions about his drive and love of the game. You either have it or you don't. Not saying things can't change, but heart is the hardest thing to measure in recruiting. The book on this kid is that he is an NFL first round talent with unteachable physical gifts, but who has questions about his drive and love of football. Tremendously high upside that will need the right coaching and motivation to get it out of him. Rodney Garner is as good a coach as there is to accomplish that goal. ATM supposedly got his commitment based on NIL and Jimbo selling his mother on the God-fearing, church going environment he had at his program in College Station (LOL). Now that Pastor Fisher has left his flock, RG can work that angle. We’ve lost recruits to him when he was at Auburn and would go to church on Sundays with mama.
I’m with you generally but then I think about guys like Albert Haynesworth. That worked out well, though I recognize it often doesn’tNot sure about a kid who has questions about his drive and love of the game. You either have it or you don't. Fair point. Wonder how often you see cases like Albert vs guys who just waste their talents? Regardless, these decisions are what coaches are paid to make. Guess right and you're the GOAT. Guess wrong and you're the goat that needs to be booted.I’m with you generally but then I think about guys like Albert Haynesworth. That worked out well, though I recognize it often doesn’t

Orrrrr you can take it as this…if this kid loved the gave, he would easily be the best player in this class. Not sure about a kid who has questions about his drive and love of the game.
