Keep in mind Alabama was 6-6 (2-6) last year and got in.

Yeah but Vandy (if eligible) and Miss. St. will be media darlings for bowl games and that will leave a team in danger of being left out. By having a 6-6 record, Bama will be on the bubble. See where I'm coming from?

They'll take Vandy in a minute. Hell, Vandy will make a DVD too.

No they won't. They're not taking a program that can't sell out a home game in a glorified HS stadium over a program that puts 90,000 fans in the seats for a spring game.

Classic example of looking ahead to next week opponent. I thought Saban would not have let his team do that.
He should've mentioned that the Auburn game wasn't right after Tennessee.
