La. Monroe vs Arkansas

Far and away the best thing I've seen in this young football season. ULM's fought a losing battle for a long time with LSU/ULL/LaTech but they were rewarded with a potential program-changer tonight. This puts them on the map. They've never made a bowl before...is this the year?

Hog nation is in melt down.

My father in law is still pissed. He went out to the garden. Tried starting his tiller. It wouldn't start. He picked it up and threw it across the yard.

On The Mark: Week 3 - ESPN

Fascinating read on the source of ULM's aggressive philosophy.

just read that. Didn't watch the whole game so I didn't realize how much they went for it on 4th

The Warhawks certainly wouldn't have erased a 28-7 deficit in the second half against Arkansas if they hadn't bucked conventional wisdom. The Warhawks went 6-for-7 on fourth down and converted a fourth down on each of their five touchdown drives. In fact, three of their touchdowns came on fourth down and the only time they failed to convert was on fourth-and-1 at the Arkansas 2.

they absolutely demolished them on 4th down...there was one play where the ball bounced off the intended reciever on the sideline and instead of flying out of bounds, went to another reciever 4-5 yards away, for a completion
