The staff would like to add multiple backs in this class and that’s why it continues to recruit several targets — not just Eric Gray. The Vols checked on Tyrion Davis, who the Vols are trying to get on campus, and DJ Williams.

I don’t wonder about Banks...he’s going to be a linebacker. Without that development, Fils-Aimes would’ve definitely transferred...instead of maybe. If he stays, we have 4 in a rotation maybe 5 if they take two.

Tennessee was in Louisiana to see LSU tailback commit Tyrion Davis. David Johnson is working on getting the Baton Route native to take an OV with the Vols in the next couple weeks.
