Now give me the percentages (that % sign thingy) of how often that happens on the road vs. at home.
Not arguing the style of play didn't contribute, but the officials clearly missed a goaltend and called a horrible charge on Golden on a flop to name two bad calls off the top of my head. Anthony Jordan is one of the worst, if not the worst, officials in the game.
Every player on vols team has big flaws!
Jarnell Stokes 5* Little Slow, can't jump, inconsistent offense
Trae Golden 4* Too short to be a shooting guard, too slow to be a point guard
Jordan McRae 4* inconsistent poor defense
Kenny Hall 4* inconsistent lacks athletic ability
Josh Richardson 3* inconsistent offensive game
Yemi Makanjoula 2*/3* not a division one player not athletic enough
Derek Reese 2*/3* yet to be determined
Armani Moore 2*/3* not a division one player yet
Quinton Chievous 2*/3* Division two or three Athletic ability
D'montre Edwards 2*/3* Division two talent
Dwight Miller 2*/3* Division two talent
Skylar Mcbee 2* Too Slow and Can't make 3's in game consistently.
Brandon Lopez NR has walk on talent
WE do not have any guards that are quick enough to guard. We only have 3 players that are 6-4 or shorter. We are guard poor and have too many small forwards.
You nailed it with your last few sentences there. We have NOBODY on the team you can call "quick". There is no Joe Jackson, Devin Downey, or JaJuan Smith.
To call us guard poor is an understatement. Outside of Lopez, we don't have a PG on the team. That still hasn't been remedied, and until it is, we will be continue to be average.
We don't even need an elite player at the PG position. We just need a natural leader who is a PG by trade, light on his feet, and a good decision-maker. There are dozens of kids like this every year who wind up at the Butler's, Gonzaga's, and Murray St.'s of the mid-major world. 3* kids who play sound defense and make smart decisions.
We had one of those in Aaron Craft, but don't get me started there...
