lack of upsets in college football this season

Purdue is my favorite Big Ten team (sis graduated there), but they should be the last win of the season for Michigan.

I have a cousin who went there, and a friends kid used to play ball there (you dont want to know. . . he turned out to be a bum!!)

I like the boilers, other than when they play MSU. Pretty solid school.

I'm still wondering how ND picked off Denard Robinson only once in the fourth quarter. Punts have less hang time than those passes he was chucking up that night.

I dont understand what the crap they are thinking, trying to make him a pocket passer. uMeyer made a comment (several comments overall) about how horrible his mechanics are, and I can only guess that his mechanics outside the pocket are so bad that they are trying to limit the damage.

Exciting player. And a good guy. I hope he is catching balls for the Lions someday.

Yeah, although West Lafayette is one of my least favorite college towns ever. What a hole.

Either way, I expect Hoke would have pulled him well before this point if he had any other options whatsoever. The only thing they can do at this point is make him a run first player and allow him to pass only when he's broken the defense down.

the second stringer. . . cannot remember his name. . . . is allegedly their next "September Heisman" winner, and he made some incredibly bad decisions on Saturday. No idea what they were thinking with him either.

But I enjoyed it.

I've watched Meechigan play several times this year, that ranking was a complete sham and anybody with half a brain knew it. Nice win for Sparty, but I honestly think UM has a serious potential to not win for the rest of the season. They get Purdue at home after a bye, which should be a W but is by no means a shoe-in, but then it's on the road at Iowa and Illinois, then home dates with Nebraska and tOSU. I don't see them winning any of those last four.

They will destroy Purdue, but otherwise I agree. I hope they at least beat the ****eyes though. Life is hard having half of your genetic code from Michigan and the other half from Tennessee. Two of the top ten programs in the history of my favorite sport grace those states and they both suck at the same time. I was conditioned at a young age to have no appreciation for the Spartans, so their success does not amuse me. Too bad Detroit is hell on earth or I might visit more often.

What about Wake Forest beating FSU? Haven't seen it mentioned. Guess it's not considered an upset.

Aside from the LSU blowout look who WVU's played prior to tonight. Marshall, Norfolk State, Maryland, Bowling Green, UConn.

IMO WVU being ranked that high is more a result of media writers desperate for the Big East to have at least one relevant team more than anything else.

This. The BE shouldn't have a team in the top 25

I still feel Oklahoma has one stupid loss in them somewhere. They always seem to end up losing a game they shouldn't.

I'm not one for "Told ya so", but I hate Oklahoma so.......

About time this season became interesting. Now it's time for an overrated Clemson squad to drop one.
