Lack of using TE

With all the injuries at receiver, yes I would find some way to get them the ball

That's one of the major problems we have now. Our entire team is decimated with injuries by this point.

Our OL has been problematic most of the year. Probably having to use the TEs as extra blockers to try to give Joe at least two seconds before he gets hit.

With all the injuries at receiver, Warren and Castles should get at least 10 catches between them a game. Don't know why a TE in this system can't get at least 35-40 catches a season
This is where I keep asking who the heck is calling our O plays. Mind boggling, as Milton is accurate on short passes

Works for GA unfortunately
Right. Is Bowers really that good, or is it because he’s targeted so many times in a game? I can imagine there are several TEs in college football that would be considered as good if they set aside 8-10 targets a game for them.

The middle of the field is where inaccurate QBs go to die.

Even Fant was underutilized last season.
He had become an elite physical specimen, but was a kind of surprise when he got his hands on the ball.
I like our 3 top TEs, but I think TE is the position that get gassed first in the hurry-up offense pace.

Perhaps, but that's what we got when we hired Heupel. That offense is his calling card and who he is and the offense he wants. It's nothing like what we'll see from UGA, but if we tried to run their offense with our talent, it wouldn't be nearly as effective in this league. Unless we get bama/uga level of talent and depth, we're always going to come up short when playing elite talent. As we saw last season, his offense can level the playing field for us....when we've got the talent to run his offense...which we clearly don't this season. Bottom line is that we can do more with less by using Heupels offense. It's fun. It's exciting and it's successful. Won't be pulling bama/uga runs with it, but it's good enough for me.

Last year he had 3 receptions for 27 yards and one rushing play for 7 yards against us. Those aren’t exactly good stats given our defense last year.
They didn't try to throw much last year. Raining in second half. Just ran the ball. If you don't think he is a great player, there's nothing can be done for you

I love watching a huge tight end get the ball and drag a couple of corners down the field for ten yards.

Tight Ends do not line up wide, therefore they will never be part of that stupid "throw behind the line of scrimmage to wide out screen" play that we run like:

Castles has been a disappointment. They've given him many opportunities. He drops too many balls.
