Well we did not fold up our tent. Great playing ladies. We need this same effort from start to finish from here on out. You have proven that you can do it.

Go Lady Vols, keep up the effort.

Survive and advance

I hope Holly realizes that it was guard play that won that game on offense and not the infamous dibble, dribble try to get it inside offense. We also played good defense, however, against teams like Green Bay, low scoring games are part of their survival kit. I still can't understand why our tallest player is playing defenses from the 3 point line. There were far too many inside points scored against us and we gave up a bushel basket full of rebounds, especially in the first half. Holly needs to rethink that defensive strategy.

They are hard to watch, seems like they don't like each other at all. And you know we will have to watch it again next year, no way hart fires holly

Same old same old from this Lady Vols team. I'm sure they're one & done now. They can't keep playing this crap of an offense & expect to win. Russell needs to become a 6'6 mean-ass bulldog & be more aggressive in the paint on rebounds & putting up shots.

They can't be one & done since they just won and will be playing in game two.

Yes. They are going to be a good defensive team for two years, wow, especially when Mercedes awareness of the court increase. Please make the All American leap this summer.

Defense solid, rebounding (loss), and our guard play was better than this team. Thank You Coop. Do have three more games in you?

Graves not showing up, its very unsettling. Nared having a late season meltdowns, and spazz attacks is unsettling...wuteva?

And to all those who picked the Lady Vols to lose... wuteva?

I am convinced that under Holly, Russell will NEVER be any more than she is. There does not seem to be one mean ass bone in her body. Every now and then you see her potential but it never last for very long. She should rule the paint instead of backing off with her hands in the air. She seems to be too scared of fouling than controlling the board. She appears to be very poorly coached. To date, she is the worse number 1 player I have seen in several years. Sad to say, but Moore is the most aggressive between the two.

Post players generally take two years to come into their own, let's see how she fares next year before she's declared the worse #1 pick ever.

But I do agree with yo assessment of her play, she is very timid and she's 6'6", it really don't seem like it, she' plays 5'11ish maybe.

What good defense ? How many layups did they make ? Everytime I looked up Green Bay was shooting a layup .I also question why Mercedes is defending at the three point line.

They now sit poised where I felt they would months ago. 20 wins, one win in the dance, one loss and go home.

Holly can change that. But if she does it the same way she did today they will be going home.

Unless you are Brittney Griner, Brianna Turner, Elizabeth Williams, Chiney Ogwumike, Alaina Coates, Jessica Shepard, A'ja Wilson, Kristine Anigwe, Azura Stevens, or Stephanie Mavunga among others, who were ready to play from the get go.

There are two seats between Mercedes and Bashaara. They must despise each other.

Why doesn't anyone want to sit with Andraya? She must be a real b***h.

Why are Kortney and Nia left out sitting all the way in the back row? I bet the other girls hate them.

Te'a is on her phone and not engaged. I bet she's texting how much she hates Diamond.

God Defense? Go back and count the layups, offensive rebounds that those short girls. I watched the short time Dunbar was in the game, and she simply can't play defense at all, and the one she might hit in a game does not make up for that. This may have been the harder team for us to guard due to their size. Let's go girls and get to the sweet 16
