And Ariel is in top five in all time assist. Numbers can be misleading.
Cos anybody who as watch South Carolina play and or played some their best ball, Cuevas is/was a catalyst.
Like, Reynolds and Carter mean they are better defensively than offensively; both sets of guards can be streaky.
By the way Hi ! Amb3096; you make some good points but i will disagree with you on Sessions and Cuevas. Yes Sessions has more assists and less turnovers but she is such a offensive liability that they are playing 4 against 5 on the court. As Cuevas she my turn the ball over some times but make you respect her offensive ability. To me you can not beat UConn,Baylor or ND playing 4 against 5 not gonna happen. Look at how we have played most of year no offense.Career numbers don't lie. Ariel has been the best passing point guard Tennessee has had in a very, very long time. As with her first 3 years, if she had a consistent scoring backcourt mate and wasn't the primary scoring guard, her assists numbers this year would be even better.
I've watched my share of SC games, and Sessions runs the team better. She's a better facilitator and takes better care of the ball. Cuevas is explosive, but careless with the ball. Every game I've seen them play, I've seen Bianca get picked from behind. 42 assists to 37 TOs for Cuevas vs. 70 assists to 32 TOs for Sessions. When the game is tight, you can bet that Dawn will put Sessions on the court over Cuevas. Bianca has more upside and will turn out to be the better player once both finish their career, but right now Sessions runs the show. And truthfully, neither of them is the catalyst; that honor goes to either Tiffany Mitchell or Aleighsa Welch. Those are the two players that are the top dogs on this team.
Thanks! Just been reading the Sagarin, (first I had to learn a new language and then overcome severe eyestrain) and it looks, IMO, like Maryland should have had the 4th number one. I was surprised. Their Top 25 and SOS is impressive. Couldn't figure out how their conference compares. Not had the courage to go to Massey yet
Hopefully at end of season the top 4 and next 4 will be clear and there won't be a bunch of ravings on different sites. Right now, a lot on the Baylor site are :machgun:at UT, if they are an example, I hate to think of what the MD site is saying.

Would love to see Kim Mulkey's face when she heard about this coming out. lol.
While I agree Baylor is a F4 contender program this year, the NCAA is CLEARLY sending a message out to programs. Play some competition, you will NOT be rewarded for cupcakes!
I applaud the NCAA for sending out this message.![]()
Surely, in the Committee's eyes, SOS has nothing to do with #1 seeds or USCe wouldn't even sniff one.

I know, don't call me Shirley lol.
Baylor down at the half to Oklahoma right now 35-27. Wish this was on TV. If Baylor goes down and we win out...definitely helps our chances at grabbing that last #1 seed.
