Don't know what he will do. No action as yet, and a lot of people have emailed him and the new chancellor.

I certainly miss Joan Cronan!

I doubt Jolette leaving has anything to do with AD. She's a SC girl and SC works it magic into your heart and doesn't leave ❤️.

Why on earth all the panic? Our guards have been a complete mess under Law. The woman is going home for goodness sake, replacing a former Lady Vol.

Get real, since when does losing an assistant mean the ship is sinking? Some of you need better meds.

I don't think Jolette Law leaving means the program is falling apart, but I also wouldn't underestimate the relationship between an assistant coach and the current players or recruits. Kentucky lost half of their team and most of their recruits because of a decision not to renew the contract of a lowly assistant coach.

Well I can't speak for other gamecock fans but I feel I'm pretty respectful on this board. We will never know because we didn't play UConn in the title game, but I will say that I & other gamecock fans felt better about playing MSU for the title (even without Coates) rather than facing UConn. That's just the truth. Once we went to the smaller lineup we were better but if we were playing UConn I'm not sure we would have pulled it off as Geno is undefeated in championship games.

But that's history now. UConn will be coming back to Columbia next season so we'll go to battle again. I am interested to see how UT performs next season with the talent you're bringing in. I see UT, SC & MSU being the top 3 in the SEC next season but Georgia is getting much better also. I'm looking forward to the 2017 season. Hail SEC!

Thanks. You are representative of the real Carolina:). Always welcome on the board. Different teams' fans are fun to have on the board; it's just a few jerks/trolls/ill-mannerd/attention seeking/whatevers that can make other teams look so bad. SC is a great school and a beautiful state..with an excellent WBB coach and team.


I still hope we beat youall:).

Doesn't matter who you played you beat them and won the title. Winning the title makes SC the best team last season. If Miss St could beat UConn no reason SC wouldn't have beat them as well. Great season for SC were hoping we'll get back soon.

Hmmm, while most ANYTHING is possible, I think smart money would've been on UConn. (Which is exactly what was confirmed by the other SC poster).

While I wouldn't have said it first, folks like to brag on their cocky selves on our board, so...

Well UConn was unbelievable last year.... was supposed to be an off year for them..... this coming year will be interesting

Clearly you don't live in SC. I do and have to put up with them on a near daily basis. And I'm not just speaking of wcbb. Most of them are absolutely great people, but they sure do have more than their share of rude, delusional, out of touch with reality fans.

I know all teams have bandwagon fans, but nothing like here. The garnet and black in this state can disappear faster than Christian Coleman can run the 100. Let them have a good season and it reappears just as quickly. At least the Clemson orange here stays visible about as much as you would expect from teams not doing so well.

Dawn Staley seems to be nothing but class, I just wish more of their fans were the same. It reminds me of the old quote, "Act like you've been there". They don't know how to do that.
