High school stats don’t always equate to college success, look at the many players that transferred from the Lv’s recently, how many really improved since it’s the coaches fault. The players were just limited in their ability.

Which brings up the debate again on whether these players are misses on evaluation of talent or just signing who they could get and hoping to bring the best out of them once on site. LV's BB brand is not what it used to be. Not sure the best players are looking to come here automatically like they once did. Takes some heavy duty recruiting work, or NIL $, to get a top player to come here now.

I think we strike out on the elite prospects, and we settle for who we can get. I would rather not take anyone if we can’t get who we truly want, and that’s the game changing recruits.

Nothing to do with Kellie. Those players were skilled when they arrived at Tennessee. They were all going to the W no matter where they played their college ball.

Rae Burrell was not ranked a top ten recruit like the others ….. how many years did Kellie coach these players? You need to consider other things that goes into making a professional player ! UT coaches helped these players for years become WNBA players! It doesn’t happen because you are good players when you walk on campus …. JMO

If they had only been recruited by Yo, they could have skipped college and the pros and gone straight into the Hall of Fame.

Unless they had wanted to play for the Warriors or Celtics first.

Deeper, I’m just saying Yo is a draw. Kellie is not apparently. We will get one here and there but I believe in the long run Yo will out do Kellie in recruiting and we will continue to dream of days gone by. I do understand blind loyalty makes you feel like a mega primavol.

LOL yeah Yo having her moment, can do no wrong. And of course she's in head over heels, can't be out there enough. Enjoy it while it lasts. I'm curious to see how Yo wears over time.

Interesting take by Yo on the Angel Antics. Tweeted she doesn't condone the behavior and would use it as a "teaching moment". But bulk of post went on to condemn the tone and motivations of those who sh*t tweeted Angel. Sounds like she actually doesn't agree with the many who are saying Angel and her act are "good for the game" and scoff that "sportsmanship" is an outdated concept that drags it down.

Curious if coaches, esp those like Mulkey who embrace oncourt taunt culture, think it's time to just drop the taunting tech altogether. Refs are already obviously overwhelmed, why give them one more subjective, controversial call? If it's good for the game, let it rip. Why make the poor refs decide what's acceptable and what's not? Drop the pretense, I'm sure only good could come for the game.

Kellie was a draw for the best player in the portal, plus several others, last year when she had big needs. Yo had the big needs this year and is doing a solid job. Meanwhile Kellie, mostly because of re-recruiting her best player away from a top WNBA draft spot, has the luxury of only needing one here and there. And has already added a top 10 rated portal player in the most crucial gap she had. Has said they are working on the other spot of need, 2 guard.

Doesn't take blind loyalty to be on board with the Kellie plan. She just goes about it a bit closer to the vest. Yo may end up being a bit of a flash in the pan.

Rae Burrell was ranked number 49 and Tamari Key 47. Rae turned into a 1st round draft pick under Kellie as will Tamari. How many pros have coach Yo turned out in her 5 years in the SEC? Everyone knew Shakira had a shot from what she did at Maryland and was in an upward trend, but after a year at Ole Miss, all of her numbers dropped, including rebounding, points, and shooting percentage her second year there. Players should be trending up; not the reverse under a good coach. I am not saying coach Yo is a bad coach, but she didn't help Shakira improve her individual game while at Ole Miss.

Anyone else feel "YO" is a gimmick?
