The BHC is having a one-time special donation drive to help get our Jordan Horston sent off into her next chapter on a better footing. She doesn't have a car and will have expenses going forward, so if you can, please consider helping her out.

She has such a big, generous heart for others, so I hope many others will want to give back to her. Gosh, I miss her already.

I think a similar thing was done for Dye. I don't begrudge any of them anything they need. I think folks would be glad to help any and all who need it.

Actually, I think a good use of NIL would be a little parting gift for everyone. Doesn't have to all be frontloaded toward recruiting.

Gee, do you guys always have to pee on the leg of a good gesture?!

The others you mention have different family circumstances and were transfers. Shouldn't we celebrate the players who commit to come here, stay committed through a coaching change, and give their best for four years to our team while representing our university and team with honor and dignity??? SMH

Does Jordan Walker have a car? I would rather a send off be split between the 3 leaving, and not ignore the 2, Walker and Franklin, who HAD to leave.
Agree. A nice gesture to JH, a slap in the face to the others. JH is coming out of school debt free and a WNBA job soon.

Just stating the issues with fans and NIL. Nothing wrong where you want to spend your money, spend as you please. Didn’t we already commit to the player who committed to us by free education? I don’t claim to know anyone’s family financial dynamic but a degree is a pretty good NIL deal out the door that puts you ahead of most in life. Best of luck to the young lady. Will this be a new NIL for all graduating seniors moving forward who stuck around?

So, do you contribute to the Booster-Her Club? If so, then you should express your concerns with them. If not, it's none of your business who the spend their money on.

I’m a VC myself. So, I guess it’s none of my business except it was linked here for all. Again, spend as you feel the need and toss a few cents in for the others.

As a contributor, I love the idea of spending it on the back end as a thank you and a boost for the next step in life, based on need.

Seems like a good opportunity for a dealership in Alcoa. If Arkansas softball can get GMC cars, the motor mile can do something.

Giving a car to somebody is a big number these days and a highly taxable event. The coaches car program, which is now ending, kind of screwed the pooch as far as players use of cars now, even though there may be a couple of Lady Vols BB players with the use of the car this year thanks to a couple of non-Motor Mile dealers who are VFL's.

So if you care enough to post on here regularly, why don't you contribute to the LVBHC as well?

Actually, no. Ever look at the other forums just on Vol Nation? And everywhere else in the sports forum world? We are the Sunday School Picnic.
