UK is on our side of the bracket...we will easily beat uga/missouri...then we will play uk or miss state and then south carolina who should get past a&m in their half

If mizzou beats Georgia, and I believe they will, that will be a tough first game for us. Mizzou is playing pretty good ball right now. Gave sc all they could handle, and if I remember correctly, gave us all we could handle. Of course, Kentucky is never an easy win...the ladies have a good challenge ahead of them for the sec tourny, but a good incentive for playing well is that thy they control their own destiny for that final one seed in the NCAA

This is quite an accomplishment for this team when you consider the injuries and how we needed several players such as Burdick, Graves and Ariel to step up their play in order to win it.

I thank both will get a # 1 seed, if they make the final SEC game, and keep the game close.

Congratulations to the Lady Vols in sharing the SEC championship. I believe it's number 18, which is more than everybody else put together IIRC! I don't root for Kentucky very much but I was for their Lady Cats today... We need to get South Carolina in the finals and get some revenge on them. GO LADY VOLS!!

There is no doubt whatsoever that USC has the Number 1 seed in the SEC Tournament.

When will the bracket be released?

Sane fans would certainly reach that conclusion. In fact, sane fans might say that Holly has done very well in performing one of the most challenging tasks in coaching: Succeeding a legend. Plus, she is CPS hand picked successor which adds another dimension to the story. Then there are the other "fans"

Warlick needs to make us a serious title contender again. We haven't been to a final four in, what, seven years? That is the bar, and has been the bar for at least 20 years, not winning the SEC. Winning the SEC has never been the bar--but some fans want to make it the bar because we have not been a title contender for a while.

RE no 1 seeds, do we know that Maryland is not going to get a no. 1? They went undefeated in the big 10, which seems worse than the SEC. They've lost twice, including a 20-point loss to Notre Dame. If we lose in the SEC tourney, we will give the selection committee an opening to make Maryland a no. 1 and us a no. 2, as we will have four losses. I also think there will be committee members who will not want two No. 1s from the same conference--I can guarantee that. We will have a better RPI/strength of schedule, but that doesn't always make the difference. Either way, I predict that UT will be put with Maryland in an NCAA bracket--one of us a 1 and the other a 2, unless we beat SC in the tournament and are the 3rd no. 1 seed in the NCAA and not the 4th, which is possible but at that point there wouldn't be much difference between the Vols and SC.

It worked in football this year for TCU and Baylor in the Big-whatever-they-are conf. TCU lost to Baylor, but were still crowned co-champs.

Thanks Kentucky LadyCats for beating South Carolina! Hopefully the LadyVols play the LadyCats in the SEC Championship game.

I'm glad KY beat USC but I wouldn't pencil them to get past a rested Mississippi State at a neutral location. I also think LSU will likely play USC and give them a game, too.

Staley got salty at the end of the game, yelling, "That's Bulls**t!" when Matthew Mitchell called timeout with 20 or so seconds to play to get his seniors out of the game. It was Senior Day.

Evidently she apologized today.

    Staley said Monday in a Twitter post she didn't realize some Kentucky seniors were still in the game when coach Matthew Mitchell called time out with 16 seconds left and the Wildcats well ahead in a 67-56 victory.
    Staley was seen with her arms outstretched in a questioning pose during the time out, which she says she misinterpreted as Kentucky trying to soak in the upset a few extra moments.
    Staley acknowledged in a Tweet, "I was out of line & didn't realize Kentucky's seniors were still in," adding that she has apologized.
    The Gamecocks (27-2) slipped a spot to No. 3 in the latest rankings.

Anybody know what's the situation with Jas? I was looking at the photos last night and seen she wasn't in any of the photos and someone mentioned on Twitter they didn't see her on the bench. I was wondering if anyone know what was up with that.
