Not for the next two years at least. Orders have already been made for next year with the Lady Vol identity, and it will continue for the teams for at least another year past that.

One coach of a women's team wanted to move to the Power T for next year and was told sternly no. The brand is extremely valuable in exposure and licensing, so don't look for it to disappear.

This is the University of Tennessee not the University of Lady Vols. Our colors are Orange and White, not powder blue.

There would not be any women playing any sport at all without money given to them by the UTAD that was generated by the football program and the men's basketball program.

What's wrong with leaving well enough alone? The color thing I wouldn't care so much, but Lady Vols has probably made a lot of money for UT. Stupor to change it.

It would be a stupid move to do away with the Lady Vol logo. It generates sales in itself. If there were no seperate logo etc., people would only have to buy one thing and not two seperate ones. If Hart doesn't understand the pull and power of the Lady Vol brand name, he needs to be fired. If you want to see this program disappear into medocrity, that's a good start.

and they were not making one thin dime, as they gave away tickets for a long time.

The girls teams at UT should have no ussye fitting under the same tent that all others athletic teams at UT work under.
