Pat needs to sit Simmons' butt on the bench. How many turnovers does she have...like 7 or 8? Ugh so frustrating.

The Vols do not play well at a face pace at all. We are a big team with very few ball handlers, not a lot of quickness, and do not pass the ball well AT ALL--longtime Summitt weakness. We have three ball handlers--including Stricklen, who's not great--and one of them, Simmons, plays out of control a lot and has at least four turnovers tonight already. The team does not know how to attack the basket against a pressing team--and generally just about everybody but Williams plays in a panic mode. A pressing team can be pretty easy to score against if you've got players who see the court well and pass well, and don't panic. But a defense like Kentucky's really exposes the poor passing of Summitt's team--15 turnovers already!--and the fact that she has recruited too many big players who don't move or handle the ball very well. Nice to see Baugh getting some quality minutes i the first half.

I'd hate to be in that locker room right now. It's not going to be a pretty sight. Hopefully, we will come out and turn this around.

It's flat out a miracle the Lady Vols are only down 3 at the half with that many TOs
