I remember CHW stating a while back that Mercedes could have been back by January or Feb of this year but she decided to redshirt her the whole year so she would not deprive her of 4 full years to play. So...that IMO would mean she's good to at least be practicing now and has all these practices and the summer to get back into shape. Because of that, I think she will be just fine. Looking for her to have a huge year next year!

Update today:

MR is practicing on the scout team, working hard on conditioning/strength etc., and doing extra practices with CDL, says her feet are feeling great.

Jasmine is not yet medically cleared, basically is checked every day...wish I had thought to ask about our concussion protocol.

Jannah is working, still lacks full confidence in her knee but great hopes are there for eventual return, no time frame on it.

I'll bet Russell could have played this year if we'd pushed her timetable just a bit. She probably could have played a month ago.

If Izzy and Graves perform consistently and well together in the tournament we will make it to the final 4. But, we have to get that from both.

No, she couldn't. She didn't start practice with the team until two weeks ago, and that was only light running. She would have redshirted either way. Why waste a year to only play in 10-15 games!?

I'm watching South Carolina/UGA. South Carolina is going to be a tough game. They are pretty good and very deep.

I only watch when they are playing ND, I will be watching the SC game though.

I usually watch UCONN until the game gets out of hand which usually takes 10 minutes or less in the AAC. UCONN had a little bit of a battle with University of Memphis Saturday but started getting the upper hand late in the first half and really separated themselves at the beginning of the second half. The game could have gotten better but I had other things to do. I respect Ginno because he constantly keeps his girls up for games in a very weak conference. They could form a team with the other teams best players in the AAC and UCONN would beat them by 20 to 30 points and possibly more.
