In the same season to Virginia Tech and Florida. Let that sink in for a moment.

No recruits for 2016 and the 2017 recruits aren't committing early to Tennessee because of the turmoil of the Lady Vols. I never thought I see this day.

The Tennessee program as who knew it is in dire straits. The only way to stop the spiraling out of control is to start all over with a new coaching staff.

Who are the 2017 targets? Have any of them told the coaching staff that they are no longer interested in Tennessee?

I doubt Holly will pull any top 2017 recruits since she totally whiffed on the 2016. In 2014 she was talking about how she was targeting top 2016 players and well, that did not work.

If y'all recall just this past week the LVs lost their social media because Holly didn't want her players being interrupted by all the negative talk about her getting the boot. No phones/communication gadgets et al.

I suppose I'm reaching far into the bag but it has crossed my mind that the players are upset about no social media therefore playing to lose to spite Holly? Just throwing it out there. Something to think about.

My understanding from their tweets was that the players decided to forgo social media. I didn't hear anything about them giving up their phones. If you have other information, please correct me and provide the source.

After every loss, damn. I hope this does not become a distraction in our quest to become an elite team. The road is just going to be full of twists and turns. lol

Draya had to defend Holly, in the press conference interview, its not her fault.

Fans always think the grass is greener on the other side.

I back Pat and roll with Holly. She is a lady vol. She needs our full support. You think, she's not frustrated mad about her team's play, and lack of effort. She needs our support. This team needs our support.

You can see her trying everything, to light a spark that says, Lady Vols basketball, no one understands the expectations of Lady Vols basketball better than Holly.

You can tell a state of a program, when you look at their fan base, we are all acting like spoiled lil brats and our team play like a team of spoiled brats.

Losses are going to happen, let's see how do our ladies respond. Damn, our ladies haven't responded yet.

Fire Holly. Fire yourself as a fan!

It's really sad how several so-called fans continually bash the team. I expect they want everyone to believe they are women's basketball experts and know the answers for the issues that this team is facing. I don't believe it for a second. The only people who really know the issues are the team members (players and coaches). I say give them a chance and stop the bashing. It's downright embarrassing and is making this forum a laughing stock of sports forums. Surely people are mature enough to discuss basketball without demanding coaches be fired or being hateful to the playersÂ….

I'm just an outsider from Waco looking in. I've always liked Lady Vol BB Primarily because of Pat and the way she brought winners to the floor. Are you guys actually saying that Holly didn't sign a single recruit for next year at all? Are there any late signers looking your way, any transfers , any JC players? If not what are the plans? Just skip a whole class and try to sign extras for 2017? If so, I'd say ya'll have legitimate reason to be very concerned.

I respect those who want to roll with Holly, but that roll, based upon what we see now, will take you over a cliff. Look at the facts:

1. In 4 years only one post player (Russell)
2. Zero recruits for 2016
3. Still gives awful interviews
4. Team lacks the ability to consistently play with heart and tenacity
5. Offense is simply bad and inconsistent
6. Coach has admitted she does not know what to do

What do those that are rolling with Holly see worth rolling with? Just saying people are not true fans because, as the program is presently rolling with Holly, they can see the writing on the wall, is simply asinine with absolutely no validity. This is not a well coached team. Announcers are talking about how the players are playing with no sense of urgency. ESPN talks like we are has beens. All put together, creates fan concern. Folks we have 7 five stars. We were picked to be a lock for the 2016 final four. Rolling with the present Holly lead team, we will be lucky to make it to the sweet 16. Coaches are accountable for the failure or success of the team they coach, that is a fact of life.

Sorry, what cliff? Or she could take them to the mountain. Who knows?

Rankings of recruits wuteva?

Has the final four happened?

Damn we have the whole SEC to get better, a half of a season. Once this team settle in on our identity, teams will have to beat us, rather than us beating our selves by not playing hard and not following instructions.

ESPN is the God of Women's basketball. wuteva.

But hey you all can all roll off the cliff, and I roll will with the Lady Vols and Holly. They haven't given up on the season, and neither will I. I believe.

Can you please take Dave Hart off that cliff with you so we can ensure Holly's tenure? ijs

How about this if we don't get as far as last year or make to the final 4, she needs to get rid of an assistant?

I'm all for that, shake things up a lil bit new eyes, new blood. :)

Big ups to you! Thanks for breaking it down. First off it's a business. If the Lady Vols can not draw folks to the seats anymore that's loss revenue for the University. Being in the Final Four alone is the biggest recruitment tool a school has.

Just because we're not rolling with Holly we're not true fans? That's not fair and kind of a bullish thing to say! We see the product on the court and it isn't good. Holly is lucky she still has fan support. She doesn't want to lose that cushy job of hers but she's in over her head and doesn't want to face the facts. She can't motivate nor coach her team. That's apparent.

I'm an ardent true fan and I want the best for Tennessee Lady Vols. If Holly paid me some of that half a million dollars she's getting maybe then I might become a CHW minion.

Sorry but the only mountain Holly is going to is the Smokeys. If you roll with Holly you are going to roll over the cliff of no return. Holly needs to find a recruiter and someone who knows offense. For Pete sake Holly needs to take some interviewing lessons. If she talks to recruits like she interviews no wonder she has recruiting issues. Holly will take herself, the team and fans over the cliff unless she makes a complete turn around.

What in the hell does anyone see in this team that would make a reasonable and sane person think this team is headed up some kind of mountain? They might go to the bottom of a mountain but, based upon their present body of work, they will not get half way up. Is it the zero recruits for 2016 or the well oiled offense that gives someone a positive outlook toward the future? Things, as of right now, does not make the future look good, however, hope is eternal. Who knows Holly might just make 2016 that grind for nine, but don't hold your breath unless you want to turn blue.:furious3:

The difference between PS teams and HW teams is that losing doesn't seem to bother HW coached teams.

I haven't watching a game this season, gave up awhile back. Won't watch another game until someone else is coaching. Better ways to spend my time, and the administration needs to take notice of fan interaction.

Yes, we struck out with high school players, JUCOs and transfers. We went hard after a bunch of them and lost out every single time. We were 0-for an entire recruiting class so obviously something is seriously wrong.

Some people are pretending it is no big deal but things are actually pretty dire, especially in the post where we will have one true 4-5 player next year. Our string of failures in recruiting low post positions goes back years now.

No coach survives that sort of recruiting even at crappy programs, let alone one of the premiere programs in the sport. Holly's one shot was to win something this year while she had all of the pieces in place to be competitive. So far that is not looking likely.

I tend to look on the positive sides of things, so there won't be no cliff. I roll with Holly and the Lady Vols, where or whenever our season may ends. Now I'm going to be me, in my opinions of their play, but I am not throwing in the towel, on the ladies, the staff or the program, to me that's so unLady Vol like. We get knock down, we get back up, no matter how many times we get knock down, we get back up.

So, we're in the start of season play, beginning conference play hopefully the women understands with our schedule and or conference, there are no days off, there is no coasting or getting by with our schedule, against every team, you have to bring it, night in or night out or its a lost, all of this will prepare us for the postseason tho, now the process of going through the grind, might not look good, but all I ask is we better fight, we better play hard. If a team beat us, they beat us, that's fine but we don't beat ourselves by a lack of effort.

Some of these ladies are learning what it takes to be a Lady Vols for the first time, and prolly now are starting to grasp the kind of schedule we play, and the expectations, you can't take a game off, and they are learning the hard way. Will they embrace it?

It's Mercedes first full season. Diamond first year. Cooper first year. In a lot of ways Middleton, Dunbar first year. The only players that have played significant minutes are Reynolds, who we know should be better. Carter, looks like she's settling in as lead guard, she may takes some bumps along the way, expected. Graves, wuteva. lol Jasmine is coming back from a year off, out now and Nared missed the first 10, 12 games. I have to remember that some time. Our team hasn't had a lot of time on the court together, which I see as a positive. In all actuality we should have started season ranked at this spot 10-15.

Which recruit in next year's class is a game changer? Really?? like we really miss something but a body, and some of the best players wasn't even in the top 10.

No more of recruiting just cos we need a body, we use what we have and maximize there's more than one way to skin a cat, yes it not traditional, but it doesn't make it poor.

Lady Vols fans are like in the twilight zone of Patneasia, or somethin'. Hello, there is a new era in Lady Vols basketball, and we gone see how it works before we just toss it aside, no matter how much it looks like we have, talent with no effort is a waste, and if it was so easy it would be more coaches winning Championship, two coaches have 18 Championships or four coaches have won 22, out of the 365 coaches. ijs. Its a matter of perspective, and this season might not end the way I may had hoped, but I rather look for the good and positives than expecting the worse. Hey but that's just me but I will ***** and groan cos I hate losses, ugh it can **** my day, night, week, sometimes til the next game... lol

Wuteva, please with all that darkness and that cliff, can you please press yo foot harder on on the gas... vroooooomm....oooooooooh.....crash and burn! Big explosion!

We are the Lady Vols!

Whistling past the graveyard. We are not fine--that is precisely the point.

Says who? Oh fans. Credible. Credible. Fire a coach who has been to two elites in her first three years, which other coach has done that? wuteva.

You're point but it don't make it precise.

Do you actually expect anyone to read this diatribe? If someone else isn't the coach within a couple of years the program will be in shambles.
